Jesus sat down with Peter and asked him this question. Do you love Me more than these?
Peter said he will never deny Him
It is not our love for Him, is His love for us.
No one can appreciate the Lord more than the Father can.
Flour offering. Fine flour. You touch fine flour it is so fine. Is the Person of Jesus. There is nothing uneven.
The wonderful Person of Jesus, our hearts can rest in Him.
Lord, give us bigger hands to receive more. We pray for greater capacity.
Only the Lord can appreciate every movement
Feed My lambs. The lambs are the younger ones. He said feed them.
He is throwing His righteousness over the young generation.
Jesus will throw His righteous over this “dead generation” and raise this generation.
What the lambs need is feeding. Feed My lambs
Jesus asked Peter if he loves him the self-sacrificial love.
At the level of his love, Jesus said shepherd My sheep.
Shepherd means having an oversight. You see what they need.
The main state of flock is food. Is there water there. Is the water too wild.
Finally Jesus asked Peter if he love Him in the level of like. He said yes.
Jesus asked Peter to feed His sheep.
On the day of Pentecost, Peter preached you deny the holy One! He was so full of grace and Christ conscious.
It is not what we were but what He made us to be.
When the first king of Israel was anointed, he was anointed with the ram’s horn.
When David was out there, he brought bread.
The Father sent the Son
When Jesus came, Israel was intimidated
David killed the giant with one stone.
Penalty for blasphemy is stoning.
David cut off the giant head after stoned him to death.
The battle is outside Jerusalem
The battle is the Lord’s. It is not based on the arms of flesh.
God has entrusted the leaders with the flock.
Don’t get distended with the people.
1 Samuel 17:34
And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
Just one lamb taken by the lion
What is your attitude towards your work, your ministry?
Is this my Father’s sheep?
The devil is so afraid of the feeding ministry.
Our warfare is to rest.
Mark 14:27
And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
The devil does not kick a dead horse.
Ladies if you are wives, understand your men.
we are in spiritual warfare.
Zechariah 13:7
Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow,
saith the LORD of hosts:
smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered:
and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
Sword speaks of judgement.
The last mention of sword in Zechariah
Jesus is the Sword.
