Sermon Note
Pastor Benjamin (Heaven On Earth Ministry)
Abundance of grace for victory
Jesus give us the heavenly life right now right here.
Romans 5:17
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
John 1:16-17 AMP
16 For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift]. 17 For the Law was given through Moses, but grace [the unearned, undeserved favor of God] and truth came through Jesus Christ.
We ℓσνє forward to receiving gifts and surprises. And good surprises. Jesus came to give us grace
The opposite of law is grace and truth
Grace is something we don’t earn. Law is something we need to do something to earn something.
Jesus came to die for us so that we can receive grace upon grace, gift upon gifts
2 Peter 3:18 TPT
18 But continue to grow and increase in God’s grace and intimacy with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
May he receive all the glory both now and until the day eternity begins. Amen!
We grow and increase in God’s grace
1 Cor 15:9-10 TPT
9 Yes, I am the most insignificant of all the apostles, unworthy even to be called an apostle, because I hunted down believers and persecuted God’s church. 10 But God’s amazing grace has made me who I am![a] And his grace to me was not fruitless. In fact, I worked harder than all the rest, yet not in my own strength but God’s, for his empowering grace is poured out upon me. 11 So this is what we all have taught you, and whether it was through me or someone else, you have now believed the gospel.
Grace gives humility
Grace will bear much fruits in our lives
Paul is one of the greatest apostles.
What God can do for Paul can do for anyone of us here.
Our part is to receive
Hebrews 4:16 MEV
16 Let us then come with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
today the kingdom of God is not limited to a building
We choose to just come and enter into God’s kingdom wherever we are and whenever we are.
The “condition” to go to God’s throne is not by our own works but by the finished work of Christ.
All the time we need God’s grace and His mercy
Esther 2:17
The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
Firstly know who we are in Christ.
We are the prince and princess
In the book of Esther there is no mention of God but yet we see His fingerprints all over the book.
Just like Esther and the book of Esther, our lives are filed with God’s fingerprints
We may not feel God but we know God will turn everything for us for good
Grace and favour was so much on Esther.
Esther 4:10-14
Then Esther spoke to Hathach, and gave him a command for Mordecai: “All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet I myself have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days.” So they told Mordecai Esther’s words.
And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
We all have the rights to go to the throne room but we sometimes have hesitation
Law consciousness came to Esther’s mind
God is not waiting for just one person to arrive. All of us have the opportunity
There is a need to go to God’s throne. As often as possible.
All God’s children are all God’s chosen
We are like Esther.
God is raising all who are willing.
Our part is not to be completely silent and do nothing
Esther 5:1-8
Esther’s Banquet
Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.
And the king said to her, “What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you—up to half the kingdom!”
So Esther answered, “If it pleases the king, let the king and Haman come today to the banquet that I have prepared for him.”
Then the king said, “Bring Haman quickly, that he may do as Esther has said.” So the king and Haman went to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
At the banquet of wine the king said to Esther, “What is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!”
Then Esther answered and said, “My petition and request is this: If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and fulfill my request, then let the king and Haman come to the banquet which I will prepare for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.”
We are living a time like Esther. We are living on the third day.
Before we go into holy of holy, the king of kings, our robe is robe of righteousness
Our royal robe is righteousness of Christ
God is asking, “What is your request? “
It shall be given to you
Today the prayer of the righteous avail much
Haman is a picture of satan. He plotted against Jews and wanted to raise in power
God is saying to us whatever is Mine is also yours.
Esther not just come one time.
She requested for another time and she went in to see the king
Luke 12:32 AMPC
32 Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom!
Holy Spirit is the One who created all things
Whatever the Holy Spirit is, He is also a spirit of creation
Psalms 23:5-6 NET
You prepare a feast before me
in plain sight of my enemies.
You refresh[o] my head with oil;
my cup is completely full.
Surely your goodness and faithfulness will pursue me all my days,
and I will live in the Lord’s house for the rest of my life.
Psalms 23:5-6 TPT
You become my delicious feast
even when my enemies dare to fight.
You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit;
you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows.
So why would I fear the future?
For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life.
Then afterward, when my life is through,
I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!
Esther 7
Haman Hanged Instead of Mordecai
So the king and Haman went to dine with Queen Esther. And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, “What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!”
Then Queen Esther answered and said, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request. For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king’s loss.”
So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, “Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?”
And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!”
So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.
Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?”
As the word left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face. Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.”
Then the king said, “Hang him on it!”
So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided.
Just as the king protected Esther
God protect us and said who would dare touch God’s people
Satan plotted to bring as many souls to hell. Just like Haman has plotted. Hell was prepared for satan and fallen angels. Not for God’s people.
Jesus came to set us free.
Esther 8:1-17 NKJV
When Adam and Eve they sinned, the rights and authorities were given to satan.
The lease has not been over yet.
The time will come after we rapture, tribulations will come
The favour can be passed on to others.
King also give his authority to Mordecai
Ring speaks of authority
To rule and reign
Today as believers we have the right to rule over sickness
You can rewrite whatever that satan has plotted. Seal it with the holy spirit and the authority that God has given.
Whatever we believe and declare, no one can revoke.
Blue signify heavenly
Gold speaks of divinity
Purple speaks of royalty
God’s people are been restored.
Today many people became Christians. The awesomeness of God that they can see fell upon them
Hebrews 4:16 MEV
16 Let us then come with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need
Our part is to be like queen Esther. To always keep coming to the king of kings and the Lord of lords
It seems like everything was against God’s people in Esther’s time
Do you feel things are against you?
The things are not against us.
They can raise up because they went into the inner court of king
Today we are different from the law time. Where the high priest only get to enter once a year or get strike down when things are not done properly.
Today our high priest is Jesus.
Perfect sacrifice so different from the lamb.
It is not about we have to keep on going to church or enter to physical church to find God’s presence. The second we align with God’s presence, we are already in God’s throne. That is where we find grace and favour.
It could be praying in tongues.
Praying in tongues we consciously bring us to God’s throne. This is heavenly language only Abba Father understand.
When we pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit is praying for us.
Rev 22:17 TPT
17 “Come,” says the Holy Spirit and the Bride in divine duet. Let everyone who hears this duet join them in saying, “Come.” Let everyone gripped with spiritual thirst say, “Come.” And let everyone who craves the gift of living water come and drink it freely. “It is my gift to you! Come.”
In this one verse we see 4 “come”
Come boldly and keep on drinking.
We are all the holy ones in Christ
We will experience everything Paul experience
Eph 3:18-20 TPT
Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!
Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.
Just like Esther requested the king and the king fulfilled it much more
God turned everything around. God raised them up
God has defeated satan and gave us the rights to reign in life.
Whatever we imagine, God exceeded it much more.
The greatest privilege is to see His people get saved.
We are called in God’s kingdom to rule and reign.
Not that we are doing it. Jesus has done it and holy spirit gives us power to speak.
God’s grace continue to empower us.
God’s power continue gives us the energy.
Amen!
With abundance of grace we shall have victory.
Unbelief is already a sin. God only please when there is faith.
When we have more grace in our lives we have more victory over sins, poverty and overflow to people around.
Just like Esther to be a star to shine for Jesus. Bright and morning star.
