The oldest book in the Bible, the book of Job
Bible is a book about our Saviour and God’s love for us.
The book of Job said that the moon shines not.
In the ancient they looked at the night sky, they see the moon shining.
He tells the numbers of stars.
The stars we see right now is millions of years away.
Our sun is actually a star.
In the same Psalm, He binds up the broken hearted. He cares for you. He knows the numbers of hair on your head.
You are more value than the sparrow
God feeds the sparrow
What we want everyday is rhema.
Word that comes out. Word that lights up that arrest us! This is the rhema word
You think you are reading bible? The Word is reading you.
The gifts are actually people’s gift.
The gift of prophet, pastor and teacher
The emphasis we must have is always the gospel of Jesus Christ
God gives bible teachers
You know yourself all these years. You know your gifts.
You need to have a teacher God puts in your heart. A rhema that will carry you in the specific
The very thing that God wants you to hear, satan comes and steal the Word. Distraction
You are carried by the tide
When you come to church, even though you are troubled, you feel the love from God’s people. Your bitterness just disappeared
It is not by effort
Dwell in unity and there the Lord commands the blessings
Luke 13:13-17 NKJV
13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”
15 The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?
16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”
17 And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.
Jesus spoke 7 words to her
I who speak unto you, I am He.
Jesus came as a Man.
In this Man is whole Godhead.
He came fully as a Man without sin.
God hates pride. It is the mother of all sins.
Love believes the best of every person.
2 Corinthians 3:1-2 NKJV
1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some others, epistles of commendation to you or letters of commendation from you?
2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men
2 Corinthians 3:3-4 NKJV
3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
4 And we have such trust through Christ toward God.
God writes in our heart on the table of flesh
2 Corinthians 3:5-6 NKJV
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
The sufficiency comes from Him, not from me.
If God gives you something you can do yourself, you will not depend on Him.
The letter kills but the spirit gives life.
God can write on our hearts because Pastor’s ministry is the ministry of Holy Spirit.
All scriptures is God’s breathe
You cannot put grace into old wine skin
Your life transformed is when you are living under grace.
2 Corinthians 3:7-8 NKJV
7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
Killing of animals was never engraved on stones.
By the law, no flesh can be justified.
Moses’ face had glory but was fading away.
He covered his face because the glory was passing away.
Our glory is ever increasing.
Ministry of the Spirit contrast with the ministry of death.
2 Corinthians 3:9-10 NKJV
9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
10 For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels.
Condemnation kills.
Ministry of righteousness exceed much more!
God is not holding anything against you.
Who is he that condemns.
Ministry of righteousness exceed much more!
The strength of sin is law!
The woman at the well was now bold. She knows the Lord knows her and yet still love her.
