Happy Passover
Exodus 12:13
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
John 1:29
The Lamb of God
(Matt. 3:13–17; Mark 1:9–11; Luke 3:21, 22)
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
God will provide Himself a Lamb
Not one feeble among all the tribe
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow the days of my life
Though there are sin in us but there is no sin on us. God sees us in Christ Jesus
Our standing before God is righteousness
It is the holiness that puts them in fear
The holiness of God today is on our side
We are made righteous by His righteousness
God is holy and just.
To forgive our sins and to cleanse us
Psalms 103:3
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Priority Jesus put after salvation is healing
Mark 2:5
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6 And he was amazed at their unbelief.
Healing is a priority with God
When we are born again we are recreated. We are regenerated
We need healing for our minds and our bodies

Irresponsible Shepherds
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered.
Ezekiel 34:4
The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them.
Matthew 9:35-36
The Compassion of Jesus
(Luke 10:2, 3)
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.
When they have a shepherd, the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
John 21:15

He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
Song of Songs 1:8

He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.

The number one need of God’s people is food
Feed them even the short time. It is meant to be shared.
When you feed others you will find your own nourishment
Upward learning
The path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter
1 John 3:3
And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
John 5:1-3
A Man Healed at the Pool of Bethesda
After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.

So Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favor.”

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Grace came into its fullness and manifested fully
Aleph – 1

House of grace
Only in the house of grace you can find food and supply

Feeding
We eat the bread and become strong
John 5:3-4
In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
The Law always demand for some strength
We try to be worthy enough to receive from God
Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
God knew we cannot keep the law
The law was given to expose everyone of us so that we see the need of our Saviour
When we are under grace we will more than fulfil the law.
John 5:5-7
Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
John 5:8-10
Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
And that day was the Sabbath. The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
Deuteronomy 2:14
And the time we took to come from Kadesh Barnea until we crossed over the Valley of the Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war was consumed from the midst of the camp, just as the LORD had sworn to them.
38 years
Israel wondered for 38 years
The sin of unbelief
Our working mentality to get the things of God
Working hard is one thing
Working intelligently is what we need
Rest and believe
John 5:18
Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

Confess daily i am the righteousness of God in Christ
Walk a victorious life
John 5:11-12
He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ”
Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?”
He who made me well
Their focus was on work. Not on the fact he was healed.
Instead of focusing on who made him well, they focused on the work – take up your bed and walk
18 is the number of bondage in the bible
Luke 13:12
But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.”
Luke 13:13-16
And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”
The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”
Men ought to work…
The Lord saw healing as a greater priority
He saw the needs more than the pride
John 5:14-16
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.
Honor the Father and the Son
For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath.
Many healings happen on Sabbath
