Caleb is one of my favourite bible character. At his old age of 80, he said give me this mountain. He was strong today as he stood before Joshua
He was as strong
Just like Joshua and Caleb, you are among the minority
The Lord Himself said this, that Caleb has a different spirit
Galatians 3:22-26
But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed. So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.
When Bible talks about faith is always faith in Jesus Christ
Reformation day is the restoration of the gospel of grace to the body of Christ
The righteous by faith will live
Before righteousness by faith came, we were held captive under the law
The law is until. The law is not permanent
Justified by faith
Declared righteous by faith
Galatians 3:24
So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.
After righteousness by faith has come we are no longer under the guardian
Galatians 3:29
And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.
Romans 4:13
The Promise Realized Through Faith
For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith.

In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
God will not withhold His Son and give Him for us.
God chose Abraham and cut a covenant with Abraham

The Promise Granted Through Faith
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Is hard to be heir of the world if you are sick. You have to be prosperous and bless others.
It is all included in the heir of the world.
Righteousness by faith that makes you right with God
God said this promise that you will be the heir of the world is not via the law. Is via the righteousness by faith
The law is good, holy and just.
I am for the law for the reason God gave the law.
The law is good for any societies to adopt.
They have progress and become prosperous
There is moral order. But it is all behaviour modification
We cannot be under the law.
Sin through the law became exceeding sinful.
The flesh needs the law to stir up
Romans 7:6
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Dead to sin
We have no power to do good
We cannot but do evil
We are died with Christ and to the law
Romans 4:13-15
The Promise Granted Through Faith
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.
The very attempt to do it is to say you are not dead to the law
You want fruit until death or fruit unto life
Be established in His righteousness by faith
Teach based on identity
If we try to keep the law we cannot inherit
Luke 13:16
So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”
The moment she is a offspring of Abraham, she ought to be loose from this bound
Luke 19:9
And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;
Salvation – Yeshua
He believed in Jesus and he became a son of Abraham
When Jesus gave the law, the law showed up what was in the heart
Ought not this woman be loose
I must eat at your house (because you are the soul that needs to be saved)
Galatians 3:29
And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 4:1-2
Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.
Is no different from a slave when you are a child though he is owner of everything
Child – Infant minor or young child
The date set by his father
Laws are given to children
The fundamental
The 10 commandments are the elementary principles
Christianity is a progress from a child to manhood
When we were children we were enslaved to the elementary
When the fullness of time has come, God sent forth His Son
To redeem those under the law so that we may receive sonship
We have been redeemed from the law yet we were trying to go back to the law
Little children young man and father – progressive growth
You are once under the law. The moment Jesus has come, that is the sonship ceremony
Jesus came that we may receive our placement as sons
We died to what we were
We are born again
We are truly born again
That is justification by faith
When i was a child i speak as a child. I understood as a a child
1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
The logic part comes last for the child
A young child cannot see the consequences of their behaviour
For a while we need to adopt rules and regulations for a child
Now we are sons. Full grown sons
God is bringing His people into realisation into sonship
Galatians 4:3-7
In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
Abba is not just daddy
It is Abba Father. The most close, homely feel of a family spirit
The name Jesus came to reveal to us is the name Abba
So that we can experience the ℓσνє of God
The name on the forehead for our protection
The name of Father on our forehead. When we look at God we must have Father mentality
Consciousness of Abba
Pray in the spirit of the family
You cannot come to God with fear
The holy spirit is a spirit of truth
You are no more a slave.
Jesus ℓσνє for you just to sit at His feet
He loves to have you in front of Him
The Lord loves to see your face and hear your voice
Sense the Father’s ℓσνє for you
Say Abba Abba
The spirit of sonship will cast out fear
Worthy is the Lamb
We have more than angels.
We can address God as You
Revelation 5:8-12
Worthy Is the Lamb
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.”
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
Angels were never redeemed
God redeemed only us
You have made us kings and priests on earth. We shall reign on earth
The redeemed is the nearest to God
Revelation 5:14
Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.
We are the redeemed ones
God will hear your prayers
Have confident that God will hear your prayers
Psalms 24:9
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Sheep go round and round up the mountain like a circle
Circle of righteousness
It is like spiral staircase
Righteousness is not a verb. It is a noun. It is not something we do, it is who we are.
Lead the child slowly
Lead doss not means you don’t discipline them
Green pastures are right on top
As we are going through good time we can afford to say He
Psalms 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
The shadow of anything bad cannot hurt you.
When they lead they lead from the front
The sheep finds security
We lead the way and they follow us
At night time they go in the middle
The shepherd will show he is in the centre
The Lord is closer to you than you think, especially when you are going through trials.
During a dark period, is YOU are with me. Is no longer third party- He
First and foremost pray
Has direct interaction with the Lord
Talk to the Lord
Going thru a trial, lack, but He is going to be there closer than your breath.
You are with me, Lord
You are my Shepherd, i will not lack.
No more in the third person, he. It is “you”
Your rod and your staff they comfort me
The rod and the staff is for sheep that fall.
The Lord knows you are going to fall.
Even if you fall from grace He will bring us up
The rod is for the wolves
You prepare a table before me in the (against my enemies)presence of my enemies
It means the Lord prepare a table
The table is the holy communion
Surely goodness and mercy shall pursue me all the days of my life and i will dwell in the house of the Lord forever
Is the spirit
Is it a spirit of slavery or sonship
God looks at the heart
Repossess the spirit of sonship
Don’t go by emotion. Emotion will lie to you
Abba, the name Jesus came to reveal
Holy Spirit will bear witness in you
