The Scarlet Cord
From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks
Joshua 2:18-21
unless, when we come into the land, you bind this line of scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household to your own home. So it shall be that whoever goes outside the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we will be guiltless. And whoever is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head if a hand is laid on him. And if you tell this business of ours, then we will be free from your oath which you made us swear.”
Then she said, “According to your words, so be it.” And she sent them away, and they departed. And she bound the scarlet cord in the window.

Scarlet Cord saved Rahab and family.
The only thing that is standing between us and destruction is scarlet cord, blood of Jesus! Nothing more precious to us than our family.
You can raise successful christian families all because of the scarlet cord which is symbolic of the blood of Jesus Christ!
Our children are worth the fight. Our grandchildren are worth the fight. Our marriages are worth the fight
Fight for your family because they are your spiritual legacy.
The king’s soldiers came and could not find the spy. The Israelis spy asked Rahab to help them.
Rahab asked for one thing from the spy, and she asked for her family to be saved!
You want your family to be saved more than anything else.
God knew Jesus would be seen hundred of years later.
The scarlet cord represent the blood of Jesus.
She let the scarlet cord down.
She wanted her family to be saved when Israel invaded Jericho.
We should claim that today!
” All of my family will be saved! ”
Rahab was socially bankrupted. God did not say she has too much sin. She needed to take the scarlet cord and she and family are saved!
No matter what route u took to Calvary, if any man be in Christ, all things are passed away. There is nothing in your past that is stronger than the blood of Jesus!
God supernaturally fed the people of Israel with manna! It was better than durian!
The stick Aaron took came alive! The rod of God.
Blood was poured 7 times into the mercy seat.
Mercy is always over the law.
Covered the mercy with the blood.
When God put something under the blood, don’t remove the lid
Don’t let the devil tells you he has the rights to your children. Your children is under the blood and the mercy of God.
Devil can’t use your past to curse you and your children.
The blood of Jesus can reach beyond your past and save you! No one can harm anyone that has scarlet cord in the window.
You take the scarlet cord and bind in the window.
Make sure your scarlet cord is in your life!
Bind the scarlet cord in your family!
Proverbs 23:23
Buy the truth, and do not sell it,
Also wisdom and instruction and understanding.
The scarlet cord holds!
Holds your family together!
All the families inside the ark are saved!
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you are saved!
3 simple lessons we learn from Joshua 2
1. Family can be saved regardless of your past
2. There’s work to do (take the scarlet cord and bind in the window)
3. Stand your ground and guard the window. The scarlet cord is tied to the window. The window has access to the whole house.
The Lord is my light and salvation!
My salvation comes from Him
He alone is my salvation

JESUS! My family shall be saved!
Jesus is the scarlet cord!
My family is wrapped in the scarlet cord
The blood of Jesus. Stand on your ground and guard the window of your home!
Guard what comes online in your home in the internet for your children.
Guard your hearts with all diligent.

The scarlet cord work so good for Rahab that she was the great great great grandmother of Jesus

The Race of Faith
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
We look to Jesus as our Source.

His grandfather was abusive to his grandmum. His grandfather din serve the Lord until late in life. He had a carriage pulled by horses. He sent a minister to a home where he preached. After his grandfather sent the minister to the place, that night he gave his heart to Christ in the salvation call. At 51, he had heart attack and died
He grabbed the scarlet cord before he left.
Our loved ones already died can do for us more than on earth.
He had a sister named Deborah whom he did not get to see. She died one week after she was born.
Both his parents are with the Lord. He dreamt that they are in heaven.
Put the scarlet cord in your phone and be reminded of Jesus
