Rest for your soul in restless times [Sermon Note]

The leaders don’t see themselves above us. The leaders see themselves as underneath us pushing us upwards towards the Lord.
Each one of us were birth into this world with a purpose and a calling.
Not find our purpose and calling later in life. That will be too late.
You climb the ladder of success, make sure the ladder of success at the top is on the right building.
The calling is given. God separated me in my mother’s womb
A simple word to your child will direct him to the right direction.
Don’t despise the small things. Your words are powerful.
Apostle Paul started pursuing thinking he was doing God’s service. He wanted to know the word of God but his ladder was on the wrong building when he did not believe Jesus
Christians should not say OMG. Why are we using expression of the world? We are using our Lord’s name in vain.
You will find your fulfilment in life the Lord birth you in this world. The Lord has graced you.
The key is always at the door.
The first few lines of the gospel
The beginnings. The genesis.
The cup of the world, anything you can enjoy, is in his hand – Solomon
His power was so vast and wisdom was far exceed all. He asked God for wisdom.
He tried singing, music, to find fulfilment. He found nothing. Vanity of vanity. Under the sun.
The next book is Song of Solomon. The One who is above the sun. You will be fulfilled
As a man, he was the most powerful. He was the king. He had everything and anything, but he was not fulfilled. Everything came to emptiness.
Plan with God in our mind.
What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but lose its soul.
Don’t misunderstand, many of earthly pleasures are given by God.
Song of Songs – His song for us. Let me experience His love, His personal love and we find our fulfilment in life!

God gives us relationship. He made male and female. God ordain marriage. Marriage is of God.
Not look to your spouse to fulfil your innermost desire.
Look to the Lord for what only the Lord can give.
Why you can be hurt by each other? You are looking to each other for fulfilment
Think about it. The purpose. The calling the Lord has for you. Flow in it.
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Come to Jesus. Not come to religion.
By their fruits you shall know them.
Will you listen to someone who has bitternesses in their hearts? They cut down your leaders to have influence with you.
The church is all about imperfect people but a perfect Saviour who loves us.
Don’t open the door to bitterness. Bad things happen where there is envy and strife. There will be confusion in every evil works. You are not a garage truck. Don’t allow people to dumb garage on you.
There is a lot of things that there is spirit behind it.
The word of God is truth. You can find truth in the bible.
The moral beauty of Jesus.
His family was looking for Him and finally they found Him after 3 days in the temple.
Why is it that you keep on finding Me in the wrong place?
At the age of 12, He did not preach the sermon of the mount.
Everything beautiful in its season.
He was asking them questions and hearing them even though He knew more than the rabbi
Jesus increased in wisdom and statues. In favour with God and with men.
Everything is beautiful in its season.
Heavy laden – trying to please God. No one could keep the law. Curse is everyone who continues not.
Love, joy, peace, self-control are the fruits
Rest given
Rest in our conscience
We are not just the body. The mouth is the door.
Is a house. Take care of your house. Your body is a house.
When Jesus died on the cross. He did not die just for our guilty sin. He created time. Time has no beginning and the end. He died for us as if He died for us just now. Aware of the freshness of His death.
God saw our entire future. He took our entire sin and put on Jesus Christ.
Where they are forgiven much, they love Him much.
We love because He first love us.
Do you want to live a life of purpose?
There is a disease now, a mental disease. You cannot have pleasure anymore. You keep on doing all the time there is no pleasure.
Conscience is rest for your spirit.
I will give you rest – Gift
There is a sin debt on people’s hearts because they think God is focused on their sins.
Your sins i remember no more.
Our sins are forgiven.
Find rest for your souls.
Mental and emotion
Battle in your souls. Driving is an area you can see whether you have rest in your souls.
Sense of Entitlement and pride
Why do we need to complete with each other to reach first?
The Lord gives us rest for conscience.
Rest for your souls is emotion mental heart
Meek is strength under control
Meekness and gentleness take a strong to be gentle.
Learn from Me. I am gentle and lowly in heart. You will find rest for your soul.
When Jesus comes into your lives, you will be like Him.
He wants you to react based on his action. Don’t react to his action.
Don’t be ruled by people’s poison. Always initiate.
Obey every impulse to pray
Good practise. Type down. Write down. All that the Lord speaks to you.
Easy. Light.
Mature ox will yoke with the smaller ox
Easy yoke is flow with the mature ox
Yoke with Jesus
If a verse is open to you, talk to the verse and let the verse comes back to you.
Listen to what the Lord speaks to you
Matthew 11:23-28
And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.”
Jesus Gives True Rest
(Luke 10:21, 22)
At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Love will tell you the consequence
You don’t react to people. Take the initiative. Don’t let people dump on you like dump truck.
Luke 1:68-78
“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David,
As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
“And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest;
For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways,
To give knowledge of salvation to His people
By the remission of their sins,
Through the tender mercy of our God,
With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;
Easy and light
Gentle and lowly in heart
Focus is “learn from Me”
Whatever you see Me as, you become
Forgiveness of sin and renewal of youth go together.
You live for Jesus, He renews your youth
Psalm 103
You are called!
Learn Jesus’ gentle and lowly in heart.
Strength under control.
Don’t let people dump all his or her bitterness on you. He or she wants you to become as bitter as him or her. This is not love

It is what you say of the Lord
Psalms 91:2
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
All earth respond to its master.
Is because of man’s sin the earth is groaning
Some countries have history of killing missionaries, their earth is so big but they cannot grow wheat. The earth cries out.
Lets go forward. Believe God because it is God’s word
What are you saying about the Lord?
That is your trust in God
You cannot trust without speaking
I believe and therefore i speak.
God believe God spoke and it was so.
Lord God, give me success.
God wants light and God said LIGHT BE.
what are you saying of the Lord?
He is my refuge
Send now prosperity
There is a river of life flowing out of you
The old man has passed away. All things are now new.
I look to the Lord. Confess it everyday. That is how you trust God.
Yahweh. My God in Him I will trust.
The Lord will keep you. The Lord is your fortress.
God commanded Noah. The Lord Yahweh shut Noah in. If the Lord shuts, you are safe.
Jesus the Ark. We are all in Christ.
It is not us shutting ourselves in. Is the Lord.
The Lord moves events.
It is because of God almighty.
Stop depending on modern technology. The law of use. What you don’t use you lose.
The more you use, you get stronger.
Use your brain
Lord is Yahweh. Covenant keeping God.
A relationship thing.
My God is the One who moves everything.
Yahweh. We know God as “My Covenant Friend”
As long as you sought the Lord (Yahweh) God made him prosper. It starts with us having relationship with our Covenant Friend.
As long as he sought the Lord, God made us prosper! God is not influenced by the market.
He can move circumstances. He can move events just for us!
When things happen, He will get the glory.
The king of the north is idol worshipper. Jehoshaphat did his way.
As Jesus is, so are we in this world!
Don’t identify with the world
2 Chronicles 18:31
So it was, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, “It is the king of Israel!” Therefore they surrounded him to attack; but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him, and God diverted them from him.
Do you know this covenant friend? Seek for His face.
The more you look at Him, you see His gentleness and beauty, you become like Him.
Transform from glory to glory. Even our bodies is like His.
