Sermon note (4th svc)
Depend on the love of God for us.
Good works is the evidence of salvation.
It is not the condition.
The condition to salvation is from grace to faith.
Grace is evidence by works. Good works show inward grace.
Grace of God with me, not I.
I use the grace that God gives me that results in works!
In life u r rewarded based on works. The quality of your works. The grace is not in vain.
It is not the condition to salvation.
Past – the grace God appeared. Become visible. Can be seen and touch – Jesus. Grace is a Person. The grace of God has appeared.
Present – teaching us. The grace of God teaches. When you experience grace, grace will teach you from within. Teach us to deny ungodly lust. Live a holy life taught by grace and zealous of good works. Faith in Christ.
Future – rapture. Looking for the blessed appearance of our Jesus Christ! Don’t rob the church of the blessed hope. Everything will pan out. Almost in every letter of Apostle Paul he referred to the coming of Jesus Christ which he referred the rapture.
Before the worst happen, before God judges the Earth, Jesus will rescue us first! We shall not all sleep. We shall be changed in the twirling of the eyes. Our bodies will be transformed and go up with us. A body that cannot grow old, feel bored.
That body will be young forever and never tired.
Get their glorified body.
You cannot burn up atoms. We will all look awesome. No more hospitals. No more doctors. Our new job is to worship!
There will be no curse in heaven! The lion will eat straws, there will be no hurting and harms
A lot of addictions are delivered because they are confessing they are the righteousness of God in Christ.
God forgives us past present and future. Say sorry is for ourselves.
Our salvation is not on our ability to confess on every sins.
God’s way is a way of faith.
Repentance (change of mind)happen as a fruit.
Is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance.
When God unleashes prosperity to our ways, no competitors can stop us.
By the fruits you shall know it.
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
There is only the gospel of grace and peace, not health and wealth gospel. Stick close to the bible.
Does the gospel produce health? Yes! Jesus healed. Prosperity – you will have more than enough!
We are blessed to be a blessing! There is an inlet and outlet.
Jesus became poor at the cross.
2 Cor 8
He became poor that you and I will be rich! Fully supply!!
Be Christ-centred.
All things include our financial, marriage, family!
Different types of all Blessings and prosperity
God wants us to be in health!
Really settled. God wants me prosperous! Just as your soul prosper!
The first time we have soul prosperity is when we see Jesus died at the cross for us.
Stop looking from self to Christ. That is when life begins!
God wants you peaceful. What is producing peace ?
3 John 1:1-8
Greeting to Gaius
The Elder,To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth:
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Gaius Commended for Generosity
Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers, who have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well, because they went forth for His name’s sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles. We therefore ought to receive such, that we may become fellow workers for the truth.
Prosper in every aspects!
How to have more soul prosperity?
Prosperity in everything is tied up with soul prosperity.
Walk in truth!
What is the (definite article) truth?
The truth always refer to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Been generous is the result of the truth.
Luke 18 and 19 are put side by side by the Holy Spirit but they are not in order
God is not against you having money but money having you.
Jesus shouted to the tax collector his name which means Acquitted, and asked him to come down from the tree, and to go to his house to eat. Goodness came before repentance.
Jesus ate with them.
“Acquitted” invited other tax collectors to the dinner as well where Jesus ate with them. He stood up and repented. He said he will return to the people whom he owed money 4 times!
Jesus said Salvation has came to this house. Salvation came. Jesus came.
Jesus is Kingly and Kindly!
Jesus did not give the tax collectors the law, He gave them goodness that leads to repentance.
Jesus gave law to the rich young ruler and he could not give a single cent. But Jesus did not give law to the tax collector and he repented and give all his money back.
Jesus told them to let down the net and simple obedience from the disciples, He took care of the supply!
2 John 1:1-9
Greeting the Elect Lady
The Elder,
To the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth, because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever:
Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
Walk in Christ’s Commandments
I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.
Beware of Antichrist Deceivers
For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
The truth that abides in us is the spirit of truth.
The truth about Jesus was been attacked in the book of John.
Deuteronomy 8:17-18
then you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.’
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
The wealth came supernaturally natural and we might forget it is the Lord.
The Lord is the One who gives us the power to get wealth!!

God wants to give us the power to get wealth not to establish ourselves but to exalt Jesus Christ!
God’s heart is all about His Son
We saw and look upon Jesus.
Look upon Jesus and our hearts burn when we see Jesus!
Preach Jesus and people’ hearts burn. God will supply us when we preach Jesus!
1 John 4:1-4
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. The problem is not anti-God, is anti-Christ.
Jesus IS THE Christ! Believing this will cause our souls to prosper!!
Jesus Is The Christ.
The word came in the flesh. Jesus came in the flesh. He had a pre-existence. He existed before. His deity!
John 1:1-4
The Gospel According to JOHNChapter 1The Eternal Word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
Jesus is the Creator.
His own. (Neuter gender) His creation. His domain
All the creations owed Him as the Lord Creator.
All creation proclaim Jesus!
The elements obeyed Him. Even the water let Him walk on it.
See the beauty of Jesus! He came to this world and His own did not receive Him.
The Word became flesh and dwell among us.
Jesus is the Root and Offspring of David. He brought forth David. Offspring of David, He came from David’s line.
When Jesus stands up, you see Deity.
John 1:18
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
Jesus was always in the bosom of the Father. He was conscious God loves Him that is why He was strong. Rest on the Father’s love for us.
Depending on His love and not my love for Him.
Entire book of John ended in the bosom. John depended on the Lord’s love for him.
Are we depending on His Love for us or our love for Jesus?
John 21:20-22
The Beloved Disciple and His Book
Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?” Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man?”Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.”
