We thank God for the freedom today. The freedom we can have today to come to church today.
What is most needed in the word of God itself is a humble and teachable heart.
Knowledge puff up.
Revelation does not.
God speaks to us (is the NOW Word)
God can use means by the Word of God
Knowledge is of the mind. It can puff you up.
What we want is revelation knowledge
Go for revelation. Let God gives us our own revelation.
When you have revelation, you are a rock. There is stability. People like to be around you.
You are a light going somewhere to happen.
You do not know your influence. You are a ball of light going around.
Who the man said that I am?
You are the Christ the Son and Living God. This is revelation knowledge
Upon this Rock, i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
We build on Jesus Christ.
To those workers of God: Study to show thyself approved to God
2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Good success will always give you time to serve the Lord. Money works for us and not us work for money, this is good success
Mediate on His Words
River Jordan is now overflowing
Whatever obstacles, you are to be occupied with His Word.
Don’t be occupied with the enemy, and you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success.
Fear the Lord
The king humble himself
He and his children will live long
Be occupied with God’s Word
People are occupied with evil. Evil draws the flesh.
We are transformed by beholding the glory of the Lord
Make sure occupation is your main stay. What are you occupied most of your time?
God give gifts to the church. One of the gifts is pastors and teachers.
God raise pastors and teachers. God allow them to go through some experiences
Cling on to it. Not for the person’s sake but for the ministry that gives
Humble yourself and listen to the teaching of God’s Word
Be under the spout where the glory comes out and park yourself there.
The things we are teaching as a church, we are majoring what is major in the bible.
Compliments never help us grow.
Is when people correct us that we are corrected.
The best government that never makes mistake will still have a lot of critics.
There is no such thing as perfection.
We have a very good and safe country.
Don’t be a slave to social media.
Your life is more important. Time is passing by.
Grass is greener on the other side. However you don’t see the droppings in the other side.
There are 8 covenants in the bible.
Old Testament in the front and New Testament in the back
You can receive the bible for yourself.
Galatians 4:4-5
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Jesus was born under the law. He is above the law. He gave the law.
The law said you cannot touch the leper. Jesus touched the leper and He did not catch what the leper had. The leper caught what Jesus had! Healing! He was healed!
Jesus was born under the law to redeem those under the law.
Gospel – the life of Jesus. Feed on the Word and before you finish feeding, you are well.
Matthew 10:5-6
These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
We are delivered from the wrath to come.

Luke 4:16-24
So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?”
He said to them, “You will surely say this proverb to Me, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in Your country.’ ” Then He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country.
We are not in the day of vengeance
The vengeance is not for us. He is not here to judge our sin. We are coming with Him.
We will be with the Lord
You be with your bridegroom.
Luke 9:52-56
and sent messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him. But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem. And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”
But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village.
10 years after the fire fell on Mount Carmel
The fire fell on innocent, a picture of Jesus
When fire fell it consumed the bullocks, woods and 12 stones
In the New Testament, fire fell on Jesus
All is paid for. Legally and righteously
Humility has a place with God
So many of us have a sense of entitlement
We forgot to say thank you and please.
Appreciate people who are working for you.
Don’t be so calculative
If you reject grace, there is no more hope.
You are reading it but not rightly dividing it
The spirit and power of Elijah is not to call out judgement but to turn the heart of the father to the children
In My name, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover!
Our part is lay hands
God’s part is heal
Their part is they SHALL recover
You can dispense healing through other ways as well. Anointing oil.
Principle of interpreting verses in context
We are not rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ when everything is done for us. He loves us. He never ask us to give Him anything. He is the first Giver.
There are things we do that He is pleased with.
Study to show yourself approved unto God. We are already approved.
Tested people. People who are with integrity
Philippians 2:12-13
Light Bearers
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
The idea people have is we are still working out our salvation.
You cannot work for your salvation. It is by grace through faith you receive.
Work out what God has worked in
He gives you the willingness and the performance
Work out what God has worked in
You can believe God and ask God for promotion.
What pleases God is when you are patient and kind.
It pleases God
Patient with people and kind
The pleasure of loving is not so much of getting something back.
People don’t have to change for me to love them
He gives you the willingness.
You just have to decide the direction.
When you are kind and loving, that pleases God
Colossians 1:11
strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;
Strengthen
Might
Glory
The power of His glory
Divine power come on you and strengthen you – for all patience and longsuffering with joy
Endurance
Long suffering -> patience is used for
God wants to strengthen you to be steadfast and enduring
Patience with joyfulness
This is prayer that Paul prayed for the saints
This is spirit inspired prayer
Sometimes we see our responsibilities as duties. It is a privilege
When you give a gift, expect nothing in return. Your reward is in the loving.
We can serve the Lord for the wrong reason. To be seen of men.
Rich, poor all the same. We are in highly favoured in Christ.
