Sermon note (4th svc)
Our world today is increasingly dangerous time. We are at the brim. We who are so near to the dangerous area that are right now hot and focus of war, we need to hear the promises of Psalm 91. The world is definitely in dangerous place. We are calling evil good and good evil now.
There is a place in Christ. We can be protected.
We need to pray. Not just look at what is happening. We do not know what the future holds. God is in the timeless zone. The very first thing of the birthday of the church, God gave them prayer language
Acts 2:1-4
Chapter 2
Coming of the Holy Spirit
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The first Pentecost God gave 10 commandments on Mount Sinai. There was lightning, fire.
God gave the spirit, not mount sinai but mount zion.
When God gave the spirit 3000 people were saved!
The law was designed to show the imperfection.
We cannot compare among ourselves. All of us are sinners. Some commit outwardly some commit inwardly.
It pleased the Lord to crush Jesus. The Father loves us. We know how much the Father loves the Son. He opened the heaven and spoke this is My beloved Son, hear Him.
When Jesus obeyed the Father, He was willing to die on the obedience of the Father.
The Father loves His Son.
To whom is the arm of the Lord revealed. God would crush His Son because of His love for us.
We learn from the revelation of how good God is. To understand that the Lord is good is a gift
God loves us when we were at our worse.
Under law, God talks about man’s works.
When grace came, we hear about how good God is! How God will run to where we are.
Acts 2:11-13
Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”
Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”
The wonderful works of God.
Tongues is a gift from God. When God gives something, it has so many uses. Oxygen can be used to breathe, to propel millions of things.
God gives the gift of tongues. You are praying for your future yet you do not know what you are praying for.
When we pray in the spirit we are praying for our future and even for our past of fear. God can reach to the future and touch.
He is outside time because He creates time.
God lives outside time.
When you pray in tongues, it builds up our bodies.
You can be free from addiction and physical infirmities.
One gift amazing millions of benefits. (Praying in tongues)
Put aside man’s opinions and focus on the Word of God.
In My name they will speak of the new tongues.
Those who believe in praying in tongues see a lot of healing.
1 Corinthians 14:4
He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
Edifies – house or building, builds a house.
To build a house.
We are temples. Our bodies are temples.
1 Corinthians 6:19
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
Your body is the holy place of God. God wants His temple beautiful, clean and holy! The word whole, healthy. Completeness. God wants your body complete.
When you pray in tongues you build up yourself.
Praying in tongues help your health to spring off well.
If i pray in unknown tongues, my spirit prays!
Building, constructing, repairing. Pray in tongues u r constructing, repairing.
Your face is also temple of God. You can repair your body by praying in tongues.
1 Corinthians 14:21-22
In the law it is written:
“With men of other tongues and other lips
I will speak to this people;
And yet, for all that, they will not hear Me,” says the Lord.
Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe.
Isaiah 28:11-12
For with stammering lips and another tongue
He will speak to this people,
To whom He said, “This is the rest with which
You may cause the weary to rest,”
And, “This is the refreshing”;
Yet they would not hear.
God will speak to this people.
This is THE REST which we may cause the weary to rest.
God is offering us rest and refreshing.
This is THE rest!
Rest -> Menuchah
There is a place called menuchah. We bring ourselves to resting place.
Spirit of anti-Christ will wear out the saints.
The promise land is the literal lands.
The giants build big and strong and deep houses.
Psalms 95:11
So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest (menuchah).’”
Spiritually seems to be nothing is happening when you pray in tongues. But continue.
We can beware of the news, but be strong inside.

A study of the brain
When we are in the q for payment, this provoke frustration. Two hormones released. Blood pressure raised.
If everything you are frustrated for long time, the consequences will cause weaken muscles, high blood pressure, increase in fats, aging.
Stress related disorders caused a lot of sicknesses.
Devil means is always to stress you out.
Have supernatural means -> from heaven, praying in tongues.
This is the rest and the refreshing. When we pray in tongues.
Freedom of stress and cares if depend on us being in the right place at the right time, it is not possible. It must be something more portable. We can bring wherever we go.
Rest. Menuchah. Rest is not possible until Jesus rose from the dead.
It is a grace gift that will help you in your affair of life.
When you pray in the spirit, something happened.
People who are speaking in tongues
The scientist chose 5 subjects praying in tongues. They do not know each other. The scientist wanted to study the blood flow.
When you speak, your speech centre is in the frontal. You can see the blood flows there. Their frontal is light up.
Our brain imaging research showed us that these subjects are not in control of the usual speech centre activities. Their frontal is not light up. They are not controlling. Yet they did not lose control of their bodies. The subjects are taken over by something else. (Another part of the brain) they could not see who took over. All 5 showed the same result.
Testimonials –

God wants to do something inside of us.
Repair your temple. Glorify God in your body.
Church is collection of God’s people.

Nations raised against nations.
We need a Saviour.
This world will not end with nuclear.
Before that will be the rapture!
You can be young and be used for God.
2 Chronicles 29:3-9
Hezekiah Cleanses the Temple
In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the Lord and repaired them. Then he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them in the East Square, and said to them: “Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place. For our fathers have trespassed and done evil in the eyes of the Lord our God; they have forsaken Him, have turned their faces away from the dwelling place of the Lord, and turned their backs on Him. They have also shut up the doors of the vestibule, put out the lamps, and have not burned incense or offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel. Therefore the wrath of the Lord fell upon Judah and Jerusalem, and He has given them up to trouble, to desolation, and to jeering, as you see with your eyes. For indeed, because of this our fathers have fallen by the sword; and our sons, our daughters, and our wives are in captivity.
Jesus touched the leper and said be cleansed and he was healed.
When you open the door u can fill up the fuse.
What is the door? The open door? -> mouth
Psalms 141:3
Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth;
Keep watch over the door of my lips.
First step out of addiction, anxiety, is to open the door!
Speaking!
All begin with opening the door.
Doors of the porch
The moment u shut the door u stopped praying in the Spirit, the lamp shuts.
You need light and wisdom. Focus on the fact the door is shut and the lamp is shut.
God is not angry with His people and He will never be angry with His people.
We are appointed for salvation
You cannot watch over yourself and your children. But the Lord can.
Pray and let God create revelation inside.
Building yourself up, pray in the spirit
2 Chronicles 29:16-17
Then the priests went into the inner part of the house of the Lord to cleanse it, and brought out all the debris that they found in the temple of the Lord to the court of the house of the Lord. And the Levites took it out and carried it to the Brook Kidron.
Now they began to sanctify on the first day of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the vestibule of the Lord. So they sanctified the house of the Lord in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.
Evil imagination is so real for people with depression. They see wrong channel.
Point them to God’s heavenly weapon
The first thing God deal with when we pray in tongues, is for us to let go.
8 is the nos of new beginning.
Isaiah 41:15-16
“Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth;
You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small,
And make the hills like chaff.
You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away,
And the whirlwind shall scatter them;
You shall rejoice in the Lord,
And glory in the Holy One of Israel.
Teeth -> two edged mouth / double mouth
Psalms 149:6
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,
And a two-edged sword in their hand,
When you pray in tongues, you are using two-edged sword.
John 10:22-23
The Shepherd Knows His Sheep
Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch.
When you speak to your condition you might not see immediate result. Keep on praying in spirit. The manifestation will be there.
Acts 3:11
Preaching in Solomon’s Portico
Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed.
Acts 5:12-14
Continuing Power in the Church
And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,
Acts 5:15-16
so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
All healed! Signs and wonders will happen!
The effect of what is released in the brain when we pray in tongues.
The effect -> Give the immune system a boost -35% to 40%
God did not give you a gift that is useless.
You will see the wonderful works of God!
