The church is made up of even the smallest numbers. Are gathered together. Where 2 or 3 are gathered together. Gathered means someone is initiating the gathering. The holy spirit. Holy Spirit is the gathering power.
The body of Christ in heaven is made up of flesh and bones
The more we claim the oneness with Him we are part of His flesh and bones. As He is so are we in this world.
Claim the truth that we are one with Jesus
Hear the life of Jesus.
Acts 21:1-2
Warnings on the Journey to Jerusalem
Now it came to pass, that when we had departed from them and set sail, running a straight course we came to Cos, the following day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara. And finding a ship sailing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail.
The church is the most successful organisation.
God wants you to belong to His church.
When we pray we are enforcing the victory that has been given.
When the church is removed to rapture, the holy spirit the restrainer will also be removed.
The worse is not yet to come. Because the church is here, the evil is restrained.
It is time to go out of the salt shaker and go into the corrupted world to salt them. You have it in you.
Luke 1:35
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Luke 2:52
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
Acts 2:47
praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
The Lord adds to the church. Daily those who were being saved.
You want a strong church full of grace and truth. The Person of our Lord Jesus Christ. Life and teaching revolve around Him.
John 16:13-14
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.
As we study the Word of God, we want to see Jesus.
When we see Jesus, you will know just what to do just by seeing Jesus. You end up at the right place at the right time.
God gave the spirit, 3000 people were saved.
The 4 pillars of the church. Continue steadfastly. This is what makes the church strong
4 pillars –
- Apostles’ doctrine
- Fellowship
- The breaking of bread
- Prayers
Result – fears came upon many souls and many wonders and signs were done
Acts 2:46
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
Acts 2:47
praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
Just continue steadfastly and the Lord adds to the church daily.
It is based on the word of Jesus Christ and His finished work
It is important we hear the preaching and teaching of His finished work.
Revelation 1:20
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.
Revelation 3:17
Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—

Mark 5:5
And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
Cutting himself day and night crying out. Our Saviour hears the cry. He said I must go there.

But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
Light Under a Basket
(Luke 8:16–18)
Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand?
Make money fast is the principle of gambling. That is putting your light under a bed.
He put your light on the candlestick. He will make you prominent in the church.
When you are obsessed with commerce, your light is off.
Matthew 5:15
Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
You have value you did not have before.
You will influence people. Those who has the gift of commerce will use that to glorify Jesus Christ.
Luke 11:33
The Lamp of the Body
(Matt. 6:22, 23)
“No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light.
Mark 5:15
Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
Light in the house.
They that come in will see the church.
1 Corinthians 11:29
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
Acts 2:42
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

When you pray you will stop the strife
Pray for those who persecute and abuse you
Continued steadfastly in the 4 pillars
The priority is always on the word of God
