East Campus Family Night
By Pastor Ronald
New Beginning!
Today is Feast of Trumpets. Head of the year or beginning of the year. This is the first day of the new year and it was believed Adam was created on this day. The Jews believe that.
The Feast of Trumpets
Lev 23:24
“Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.
You will experience liberty from failures, bondages.
Family united.
The trumpet is blown on the day of Atonement
Next fri is Holy Spirit night, the day of Atonement.
Feast days are days of special. Something special will happen
Numbers 29:1-6
Grain offering is the only offering without blood.
In sin offerings all our failure and lack are transferred to Him
New Moon means new month
there are offering offered in new months.
One ram 7 lambs (Numbers 28)
The drink offerings – the delight and joy of what the Son has done (the Sacrifice)
21 animals are sacrificed
2 goats are sacrificed for sin offering
These are all pictures of Jesus work on the cross.
Jesus took upon Himself and God judged Him in our place.
Natural Israel is celebrating New Beginning
Jesus has paid the price for our New Beginning.
Everyday we can experience new beginnings. We do not need to think of the failure of the pass. Our pass will not determine the future.
Everyday is a new beginning for us. We can celebrate everyday.
We live under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. In this life we can look forward to good days.
Regardless of our past, all the past are cut off because we are new creation!
God is looking forward to do good things for us.
We will forget all the bad memories of the past. All the troubles in the past, all the condemnation that come with those things, God want to remove from our memories.
We can look forward to loving life and see good days. We will experience heaven on earth.
Numbers 22
God said He wants to bless us, He will bless us.
Numbers 23: 18-21
Then he took up his oracle and said:
“Rise up, Balak, and hear!
Listen to me, son of Zippor!
“God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Behold, I have received a command to bless;
He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.
“He has not observed iniquity in Jacob,
Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel.
The Lord his God is with him,
Passover handles the first month.
The burnt offering was a sweet aroma to the Lord.
To blow a shofar, the ram has to die.
Sin offering and burn offering went up. All the offerings are shadow of Christ on the cross.
The shout of the king. Ram horn was blown.
Jesus on the cross shouted It is Finished!
We are gainers in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
The word finished, it means our sins are not just covered, they are taken away!
What God sees us is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus cos we are in Christ Jesus
The cross stands outside history.
We can enjoy new beginnings because Jesus has taken all our pasts.
Love changed everything.
Why did Jesus go on the cross?
God has sent His only Son for us.
Today you are different. I am different. I can change the world. I am special. I am set apart. I am sanctified.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
We are a chosen generation!
We are a royal priesthood
What we declare will come to pass.
We are uncommon❗️
We are holy! We are special people!
When the world gets into darkness we can still rejoice.
Who can rejoice? Natural man will not be happy in the midst of troubles. We can give thanks because we have good God.
We are going to carry on proclaiming the goodness of God!
