Happy is the man who does not condemn not himself of what he eats. The man comes under a sentence, not judgement from God. The context there is about eating. He who eat out of doubt is judged.
He that eats and drinks of the Lord’s supper in unworthy manner, he is eating consciousness of Lord’s judgement
God does not want us to be condemned of the world
Out there there are all kinds of teaching and you get confused.
A person is condemned condemns himself. Not from God.
Secrets of the Upper Room.
Every part of the bible is important
The bible is the Word of God
Every scripture is God’s breathed. God inspired it.
Many of the Old Testament was spoken to the Jews.
Jews or Gentiles or the church of God
God looks down and see 3 groups of people.
Today we have Christians who want to go back to the law.
Abraham believed God and counted to him for righteous
God count righteous while the person is still ungodly.
God justifies the ungodly
The faith that believes God justify the ungodly. This solid foundation is the work of Lord Jesus Christ at the cross
Jesus being made sin on the cross with my sins having done no sin.
I have done no righteousness can be righteous
This is the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ
The world is crying out to the true Love which only comes from God
True transformation is “my desire to do it (sin) is gone”
In the Upper Room are many mansions, I go and prepare for you.
Gospel is believing on God who justifies us while we are still ungodly
John 13:1-5
Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet
Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.
Betrayal mentioned first than His knowing
Jesus knowing the Father has given Him all things, He took the feet of the disciples and washed them
Know God has given you all things before you can be humble.
People are proud because they are insecure.
Sometimes we need to walk in other people’s shoes. What makes us loving and keep the new commandments
Knowing the Father has given Him all things
Joseph knew he had all the power in his hands in Egypt, he forgave his brothers who sold him there.
He knew God sent him there to save many lives.
Only people who know who they are can afford to be humble
John 13:15-17
For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
Blessed here is Happy
What i do now you don’t understand but you understand later
As High Priest, Jesus is washing your feet
If i don’t wash you, you have no part with Me. With Me means flow with Him
He who is bathed does not need except to wash his feet but is completely cleaned
Bathed – saved. The regeneration of the Holy Spirit
Once you are saved you are saved. Not possessor. God wants processor of eternal life.
We are completely cleaned
The only thing to let Jesus wash everyday is hear Christ-centred sermon
A gold bar fell into mud is still gold bar. Take the gold bar and wash it with water. It makes the gold bar more shiny but does not increase its value.
Jesus still serves His people on heaven
The Man of God comes not to be served but to serve.
Your word can become washing for the person’s feet.
Happy are you if you do this.
Don’t make the water too hot or too cold.
The way you talk to your friends, don’t condemn them
Gospel of grace
Isaiah 11:5
Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,
And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
Make people feel that they are righteous in Christ
Don’t forget this towel. Righteousness towel
The ministry of condemnation had glory. Ministry of righteousness exceed its glory!
We all know we don’t want to die.
By one man’s offence, death reign by One
Spend your time with the Word of God. The word gives you wisdom.
They who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life!
God promised Abraham in your seed shall all be blessed
Jesus washed us. He loves us and washed us in His own blood and made us kings and priest unto God the Father
I am the righteousness of God in Christ
It is the gift of righteousness
John 13:34-38
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial
Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, where are You going?”
Jesus answered him, “Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward.”
Peter said to Him, “Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.”
Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times.
If there is old there is also new
Love one another as yourselves
Love one another as I have loved you.
He loves us. He loves us all the way by washing our feet
Which is the greatest commandment?
Love your God with all your heart all your soul and all your mind.
He was born under the law, made under the law, redeemed them under the law. He knew He was going to bring the new commandment
We are for the law for the reason God gave the law.
The law cursed. The law does not understand I bend down to do the best
Only when we are dead unto the law we live to God
The law was designed to show man you are the sinner.
It is like a mirror. You must not blame the mirror.
You cannot use the mirror to clean you.
The morality that comes from grace is much higher
1 John 4:9-11
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Not that we loved God (law)
But that He loved us (grace)
It is God’s love for us that matters
Love one another as I have loved you
Jesus is the Man, you are the bride. We loved because He first loved us
It is hard to believe God loves me when things go wrong
Believe God loves you. Not knowing only.
”So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.“
1 John 4:16-19 ESV
Not as He was, but as He is.
Jesus all glorious.
As He is right now, so are we in this world
As Jesus is, (no sickness), so am I in this world
Jesus is strong and young, so am I in this world
He who dwells (sit down) in the most high, shall abide in the secret of the Almighty!
Exercise, it is not my effort that makes me healthy. It is God who makes me healthy.
The devil is not inside us. The devil is outside.
Trust your inside. Look for the green light inside.
Our decision that we made is based on the love of God.
We don’t know how to handle the difficulties that come our ways.
How does God handles your difficulties and doubts?
The truth is revealed in the New Testament

Jesus today is our high priest

John 13:21-30
When Jesus had said these things, He was troubled in spirit, and testified and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.” Then the disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom He spoke.
Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore motioned to him to ask who it was of whom He spoke.
Then, leaning back on Jesus’ breast, he said to Him, “Lord, who is it?”
Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it.” And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.” But no one at the table knew for what reason He said this to him. For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus had said to him, “Buy those things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.
Having received the piece of bread, he then went out immediately. And it was night.
John’s name means God’s grace
Peter means stone
John 13:34-38
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Whenever you depend on your love for the Lord, there is always a distance. It is not fixed.
His love is fixed on you. He loves you to the end.
Peter represents christians who depend on their love to the Lord
John 13:26-27
Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it.” And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”
John 13:28-29
But no one at the table knew for what reason He said this to him. For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus had said to him, “Buy those things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.
Spiritually speaking it was night for Judas. There was no morning for him forever.
Lean on Jesus’ breast
1 Samuel 30:6-10
Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.
Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, “Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David. So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”
And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”
So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and came to the Brook Besor, where those stayed who were left behind. But David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so weary that they could not cross the Brook Besor.
Exodus 28:15
“Fashion a breastpiece for making decisions—the work of skilled hands. Make it like the ephod: of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.
Exodus 28:28-30
They shall bind the breastplate by means of its rings to the rings of the ephod, using a blue cord, so that it is above the intricately woven band of the ephod, and so that the breastplate does not come loose from the ephod.
“So Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel on the breastplate of judgment over his heart, when he goes into the holy place, as a memorial before the LORD continually. And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be over Aaron’s heart when he goes in before the LORD. So Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel over his heart before the LORD continually.
Making decision is found when you look at the heart of the Lord
5 words of grace
Just because You loves me
Your faith will start working like never before.
He leans back on Jesus’ love for me
See God’s people as precious, in-spite of their weaknesses
Follow the Lord. Keep your eyes on the Lord
See everyone, His children as precious
Lord, just because You loves me, help me with this Lord.
