Sermon Note
Pastor Lawrence
Hebrews 10:19-25
Hold Fast Your Confession
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Our hope is our sins are forgiven
Our hope today because of what Jesus has done.
Today surely blessings He will bless us. Multiplying He will multiply us.
How do we hold fast the confession of our hope?
Declare God will save you and heal you
Provoke each other to good works
Those who have, help those who do not have.
Whenever you extent your energy and resources to the Lord, you will never be shortchanged.
- Draw near to the Lord
- Hold fast confession of the Word
- Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together
Come. Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. So much more as we see the day approaching
Isaiah 35:1
The Future Glory of Zion
The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,
And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;
One day the land of Israel, the wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them
He will come and save you
Water shall burst forth in the wilderness
He will come and save us. We are His people.
There will be an end-time healing revival never ever experience before coming into planet earth!
Arabah – A desert
Malachi 4:1-2
The Great Day of God
“For behold, the day is coming,
Burning like an oven,
And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”
Says the LORD of hosts,
“That will leave them neither root nor branch.
But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
He will HEAL us!
Healing revival!
After 2 days He will revive us
2 days have passed. 1000 years 1 day
Naturally Israel is revived. More coming back! They are revived!
We will also be revived! There will be an end time revival!
He will heal us! Rapture is coming!
He will come to us like the rain
Healing revival!
Isaiah 35:1-2
The Future Glory of Zion
The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,
And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;
It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice,
Even with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
The excellence of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the glory of the LORD,
The excellency of our God.
Healing revival! It is happening!
God’s will is for people to experience His healing.
We should follow the word of the Lord
Lay hands on the sick and the sick will recover.
It is God’s will to heal!
God sent healing to teach sickness a lesson! Not the other way.
Matthew 8:1-4
Jesus Cleanses a Leper
(Mark 1:40–45; Luke 5:12–16)
When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
He recognised Jesus as the Lord
He knows the Lord can, but not sure if He is willing.
He was cut off from everyone. Jesus touched him and said I am willing.
Jesus is saying to you today, I am willing. Be cleansed. Be healed.
In the entire history, no leper was healed until Jesus did it.
Jesus healed the leper. Incurable healed!
Matthew 8:5-13
Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant
(Luke 7:1–10)
Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”
And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.
I will come and heal him.
This is Jesus’ response.
How do we amaze God today?
When we have great faith
Matthew 8:14-15
Peter’s Mother-in-Law Healed
(Mark 1:29–31; Luke 4:38, 39)
Now when Jesus had come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever. So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them.
Jesus saw.
Jesus touched her hand and the fever left her.
She was touched, healed, arose and served the Lord
Matthew 8:16-17
Many Healed in the Evening
(Mark 1:32–34; Luke 4:40, 41)
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
“He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.”
He healed all!
Every person who were sick were healed
Jesus heals me
Jesus heals my friend
Jesus heals my family
Jesus heals all
In your heart and mind, you can believe God for healing today.
The Lord is here, what stops Him? Nothing! You just need to believe.
Isaiah 35:3-6
Strengthen the weak hands,
And make firm the feeble knees.
Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you.”
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then the lame shall leap like a deer,
And the tongue of the dumb sing.
For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.
The glory of the latter us (us the new covenant church)
The mountain shall drip with wine
There is end-time revival
