Happily Ever After
The house of God first mentioned was in Genesis chapter 28. Jacob run away from family because he cheated his brother of first birthright.
He was at a place where he had nothing and that was the first mention of the House of God –
Genesis 28:10-11
Jacob’s Vow at Bethel
Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep.
Bethel u can see the sky when u lie down there. As Jacob was lying down there he got a dream.
Genesis 28:12
Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
John 1:51
And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
We as sinners we can never reach heaven but Jesus came down to bring us up.
Between heaven and earth is a big gap. Our Lord Jesus came down to bridge the gap!
We encounter grace in the house of God
Genesis 28:13
And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.
The Lord appeared without any condemnation. He is always giving and there is no condemnation. Encounter grace in this house of God.
We are not perfect but God wants to give to us.
To receive is not what we can do. He wants to come down and give it to us
Bless to be a blessing!
His heart is to give and to give. It is our Father good pleasure to give to us.
God wants us to have this image, do not think how i deserve it and my weaknesses.
Know that the Lord wants to bless us and provide for us!
Behold, I am with you.
Genesis 28:15
Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
It is not because we are strong. He wants to bless us with all the blessing on earth. He wants to give us abundant life! Abundance life through eternity!
There is no other promises except this.
Though the world is in darkness, the Lord wants us to rejoice. We are in the world but not of the world!
Look up and this is how we behold Jesus!
He promise us that He will not leave us.
Genesis 28:16
Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”
How awesome! None other than the house of God
Genesis 28:17
And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
We are in the house of God! How awesome is this!
It is not how faithful we are. It is how faithful Jesus is.
Through the Jacob ladder, He wants us to see God’s heart.
House of God is how we encounter grace. Grace express God’s love for us.
It is not what we must do. Allow Him to bless us. Allow the Father to love us
Live life love!
Expression of tongues, words, is so live!
Right believing produce right living
Genesis 28:18
Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it.
With God’s blessing in our life, it is not what we can do. It is through resting and sleeping.
Bethel is the House of God. We rest in His love, His provision
The ladder (Jesus) has came down already.
God wants us to rest through His Son, His provision
We are not trying to learn a new phase. We cannot rest unless we see the cross. Unless we see 1 Peter 5:7
We will not be anxious is the fruit.
We cannot rest unless we see the cross, see His love and His provision!
God wants us to know when we rest, God works!
When we try to work, we cannot. He wants us to rest in His love for us.
As i begin to keep on hearing the sermon, faith comes by hearing.
We cannot try to enter rest. Faith comes by listening and rest my heart.
God wants us to rest. Daily changing our mind
Our pain loneliness attracted Him. Jesus went all the way to find the woman with pain and shame and lonely. If you are seeking love you cannot find, always know that Jesus is always there for you!
Know that the Lord is always there for you!
He is attracted to our loneliness. He knows how you feel. Grace means He emphasised.
He understands! He not only understand, feel for us, He also wants to help us❗️
He loves us and saves us!
It is not our strength that attracted Him
Heaven is so far away. He close gap for us!
Our family all got problem.
Fear of lack is very real in our lives. This fear is very real.
He wants to bring all the gap together. Only He can close the gap for us. He holds everything together!
The hardship our parents go through is very real and they don’t want us to go through.
Understand them and never force them.
Grandparents also understand the young generation. Those after 1984. Thinking their lives is easier. But it is not the same. Their challenges are different from the generation of grandparents.
Grace came down from heaven and He chose to understand us. He is not demanding from us what we cannot do.
To build relationship is understanding and to have mercy and grace.
Genesis 25:26
Contemporary English Version (CEV)
The second baby grabbed on to his brother’s heel, so they named him Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when they were born.
Love relationship cannot be instant.
We cannot demand something we cannot do ourselves.
We want our loved ones to be happy. But if we are not happy we cannot make our loved ones happy.
Not hear through the sermon but hear in.
Grace is always from inside out.
Every parents’ hearts want their loved ones to be well.
Children want understanding, love and acceptance.
In everything we walk together step by step.
Every relationship is hello how are you.
The Lord appears to us is always ” Do not fear”
Everyday is the Lord connecting with us.
Live life love!
Are we doing something to gain or we allow Him to love us?
The heaven is open!
Open heaven.
Allow Him to connect with us.
When we enjoy Him, He enjoy us
Empathise
Come to the throne of grace and receive His mercy.
In the most present help, He help us.
Our mindset is what must i do?
Jesus is our high priest. He empathise!
Come boldly!
Without Him, we can do nothing.
When i realized i am weak, that is when i am strong.
When you humble, grace abounds.
When you submit, grace abounds.
When you rest, grace abounds.
Just be, and come to Him.
Not having condemnation. Condemnation gives me distance away from God.
The Lord came to find us.
Thank you for loving me. He is well-pleased with me.
When u live right, everything will be alright.
You do not need to grab anymore, let Me provide for you.
Hold on to His promises. Seed of the righteous will be delivered!
Wealth and riches is in the house of the righteous.
Come boldly to the throne of grace.
Genesis 47:27
Joseph’s Vow to Jacob
So Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions there and grew and multiplied exceedingly.
17 represent victory
Egypt is the world.
Life of breakthrough when u draw near to Him.
To live a life of grace is not how good u are.
It is how good Jesus is and His grace.
Live from the end. We love fairy tale is because the ending is happy ever after.
James 5:11
Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

11 You know we call those blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] who were steadfast and endured [difficult circumstances]. You have heard of the patient endurance of Job and you have seen the Lord’s outcome [how He richly blessed Job]. The Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.

11 What a gift life is to those who stay the course! You’ve heard, of course, of Job’s staying power, and you know how God brought it all together for him at the end. That’s because God cares, cares right down to the last detail.
It is not because we are good but because God is good.
Live life knowing rapture is near. We are going to have good ending!
We are the one who will live happily ever after!
