Guard what will come into my house
More important is to guide what enters into our hearts
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
Proverbs 4:23 NLT
There are many things we need to guard
Parents guard a lot of things for their children.
Before guarding, have peace in your heart
ABOVE ALL, guard your heart
Matthew 12:35
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
Treasure in the greek is thésauros – a deposit, ie wealth
Out of deposits it comes out
What you deposit in your heart, it comes forth
We know the heart is more than just organ that pump out blood to your body.
Your heart is many things
The heart being a place where your feeling and emotions sit
Genesis 6:5
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually
What is critical is the imagination of the thoughts of the heart

Pictures of the 10 spies had of themselves
Numbers 13:31
But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.”
The imagination of the hearts of the 10 people determined the course of 2 millions people
10 men had evil imagination in their heart
It caused the people to wander for 40 years
The Lord wanted to give them the land. It is not what people give you or what you possessed. It is what you have inside.
See it and perceive it
Picture the 10 spies had of themselves
Numbers 13:33
There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

“The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.

What determined the cause of their lives?
They entered the promised lands. The 10 spies never did.
Start SEEING how God sees
Gidon was the guy who was in great fear
God called out to him as valor champion
Judges 6:14-15
Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”
So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”
God saw Gidon has might
God saw Gidon can save Israel
Gidon did not see that
How do you see yourself?
You are His beloved. In you He is so well-pleased
He will cause all grace to abounds to you
Today the Lord is painting pictures in our hearts.
Those pictures will determine the course in our lives
Gidon felt he could not
See yourself win!
What do we see?
When you make a mistake what do you do?
See He never leave me nor forsake me
Thank you Lord! You will turn my mistakes around for my good and everyone’s good.
It will determine the course of our lives
The Lord wanted to change the inner picture of our heart
The Lord wanted to frame the picture right
The Lord wanted to show Gidon something so powerful
He reduced his army from 3000 to 300
Judges 7:13-14
And when Gideon had come, there was a man telling a dream to his companion. He said, “I have had a dream: To my surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed.”
Then his companion answered and said, “This is nothing else but the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel! Into his hand God has delivered Midian and the whole camp.”
Barley was food for poor people
Gidon sees the barley loave represented him and the children of Israel
It is not about the barley loaves but about the Lord
God will be our sword
Judges 7:20-21
Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers—they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing—and they cried, “The sword of the LORD and of Gideon!” And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled.
The work is finished
Jesus paid the price of all our sins
Depend on My work. Finished and paid for. Depend on the Holy Spirit
In his heart he fashioned for and frame who the Lord is
How do we guard our hearts?
Listen to the Word and practice His presence
Only when we guard our hearts and let His words frame our circumstances
Ephesians 2:4-8
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
God is rich in mercy. we can depend on Him
God has not just loved but GREAT LOVE for us
He put us in the place of reigning over every problem
He raised up together with Him
He made us sit together
He made us reign and also make us rest
Raised up together
Everything that is earthly
Your problems and challenges are earthly they become very small
We are raised up together with Christ
We will reign above every single problems
We will conquer every sin and pain
We will reign in life!
When i think of resting i think of eagles
When the chicks are down, what at the pictures we see?
Look up! Hope in the Lord and we shall see the eagles soar!
The Lord did not call us to flap away 70 beats per second
They that hope in the Lord shall mount up like eagles
The wind of the holy spirit. The holy spirit will cause us to soar every single storm
When the chicks are down, what is your inner pictures?
Soar above every storm
Run and not be weary
Walk and not faint
