The Lord’s Supper is to remember the Lord’s death till He comes.
When you partake the Lord’s Supper it is always to be fresh.
We sing worship songs about Jesus, the Father delight to see and hear that.
Worship is giving the Lord delight.
The feast of Pentecost was celebrated yesterday.
We have come 50 days from then.
It is going to be a lifting of atmosphere.
The Law came in thundering lightning.
A rushing mighty winds and flame of fire rushed in, the holy spirit came.
His ℓσνє was rejected.
On the day of Pentecost the holy spirit came. Today we celebrate the giving of holy spirit.
The law kills but grace gives life.
We are not come to the law. We have come to the mountain of grace.
We need to start preaching from Mount Zion not Mount Sinai
Grace is about supply.
God supply us the willingness and the performance.
He gives you also the performance.
Whatever challenges there are, you must be supply minded.
God will supply you with a job even if you have lost a job now.
Don’t speak hopelessness.
God is telling me that My people are not walking in the fullness of the first born blessings.
By faith believe you have received when you pray to receive praying in tongues.
Switch off your head and switch on your heart.
Faith has nothing to do with emotion. It has to do with the integrity of God
The bible calls us the church. The church is not a building.
The church is most brilliant idea that God has in His heart
The church is the greatest organisation in the whole universe.
It is not made of stones and concrete.
God calls the church the bride of Christ.
The church is one with Jesus Christ
Hebrews 12:22-23 (NIV)
But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
Church of the firstborn
There is a blessing called the firstborn blessing
Issac had twins.
Genesis 25:29-34
Esau Sells His Birthright
(Heb. 12:16)
Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom.
But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.”
And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”
Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.”
So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.
Birthright
The father gave instruction to Esau. He wanted to give firstborn blessing to him.
Genesis 27:28-29
Therefore may God give you
Of the dew of heaven,
Of the fatness of the earth,
And plenty of grain and wine.
Let peoples serve you,
And nations bow down to you.
Be master over your brethren,
And let your mother’s sons bow down to you.
Cursed be everyone who curses you,
And blessed be those who bless you!”
Genesis 27:39-40
Then Isaac his father answered and said to him:
“Behold, your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth,
And of the dew of heaven from above.
By your sword you shall live,
And you shall serve your brother;
And it shall come to pass, when you become restless,
That you shall break his yoke from your neck.”
The father gave him the leftover blessings. Not the firstborn blessings. Esau despised his birthright.
Jacob had the desire and respect for birthrights and God honoured that.
Repentance means change of mind.
Firstborn blessings have
Plenty of grain and wine
The firstborn blessings is to have plenty of grain and wine
Isn’t that communion?
Revelation of bread and wine for us today.
The bread and wine is a picture of communion.
Don’t just partake once a day. Take it as often as you can.
They came together on the Lord’s day to break breads
His ℓσνє language is to have you to partake the Lord’s Supper. To be loved by Him.
Genesis 27:37
Then Isaac answered and said to Esau, “Indeed I have made him your master, and all his brethren I have given to him as servants; with grain and wine I have sustained him. What shall I do now for you, my son?”
Life more abundant. Quality life is more important than food.
Quality life and quality body
Esau knew it was not natural grain and wine in the firstborn blessing
Jesus is the firstborn from the dead. He always existed. He came into position as the firstborn. We all share the same blessings, goodness from the firstborn blessings.
You have received the kingly portion.
The position of the king before God as well as the priest
Revelation 1:5-6
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
God sees us right now in the spirit, king and priest.
Where the word of the king is there is power.
He only has to speak. He spoke be cleansed and the leper was cleansed.
If you know something is not God’s will, speak to it.
Don’t just tolerate the condition.
Don’t just think about the problem and hope it will go away.
Mountain is an obstacle.
Whoever shall say it, say it to the mountain.
Like the king that you are. You speak the Word and it happens.
Say to the mountain be removed and be thrown into the sea and he will have what he says.
Speak to the mountain
You have this birthright and inheritance. You are king in God’s eyes.
Use it in Jesus’s name
If you are always losing your temper it might be evil spirit afflicting you. Speak to it.
Speak to the condition. Use your authority in the name of Jesus
We are worshipping the Lord and fulfilling the priestly role
No sermon can be good unless is from the Lord
Give God His portion first. Fulfil your priestly role.
Look to Him and when you turn around you see God has fulfilled all your needs in your life
The prophetic element is the firstborn right in every believers in Christ
We have this manifestation. Don’t hold on to our firstborn nature which is the flesh.
This is fallen.
We are born again and this is firstborn spirit.
Be sensitive to the firstborn blessings and flow.
There are times you feel like worshipping God, that is flow.
It always produce comfort strength and inheritance.
1 Corinthians 12:31
But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
Covet is a strong word. Have a passionate desire for these gifts.
9 gifts –
Is 9 gifts so is 3 sets of 3. They are grace gift.
First set of 3, Says something
Prophesy, tongues and interpretation of tongues
Second set of 3, Know something
Revelation: word of wisdom, word of knowledge (present impartation of the word), discerning of spirit (you can discern angels) when people talk you can sense the spirit
Third set of 3, Do something
The power gift. To do something
Kingly flow.
Gift of Faith, healing and working of miracles
Heaven is so rich yet we are living like beggars.
We don’t have to be physically by the person to pray
When the gift of faith operates you just know that you know.
When gift of faith operates we need to covet earnestly this gift.
The best gifts are gifts needed for the occasion.
You have the firstborn blessings. You have the priestly flow.
Ministering grace to people.
The gift manifest in an enhanced way.
We have ministry gifts.
The gifts will manifest in these ministry.
Partake the firstborn blessings. Make sure is revelation. Partake it everyday
God is causing someone with a very bad back condition to be healed of the affliction in the name of Jesus Christ.
The best way to flow in the gifts is by prayers.
