Constant worrying is very painful. Pastor Mark shared how he felt so guilty and worrisome when he invested wrongly. He blamed himself
Our weaknesses caused –
- Sickness
- Lack of experience
- Lack of confidence
The root of our worries are blames. We blame ourselves. The evil cycle caused more worries in our lives.
Luke 21:34-35
The Importance of Watching
(Matt. 24:36–44; Mark 13:32–37)
“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Our Lord Jesus know ahead of us. He has prepared for us.
We want to try to save ourselves and become very worried. Our emotion becomes depressing and we get irritated easily.
We have a self-survival mechanism and this caused a lot of worries when we cannot do it.
Only Jesus can save us.
It is not a religion that can save, but is a Person, our Lord Jesus Christ who can save us.
Matthew 9:36
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.
God is good. He understands us because He created us.
Jesus came not to punish us but to save us. He loves us and He wants to save us from the trap in our problems
Do you know the meaning of the name Jesus?
His name means Saviour.
There is hope in the darkness you are trapped in.
Do you want Him to save you?
Let go of your problems and hold on to His hands. His hand outstretched to you
Matthew 12:20
A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench,
Till He sends forth justice to victory;
Jesus wants to save us. A bruised reed He will not break.
God loves us and want to save us. He came not to punish us.
Matthew 6:31-32
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
What is in the outside cannot fulfil us.
What we need is Someone who can ℓσνє us
We are created with His heart. He loves us so deeply that He came to die on the cross for us.
ℓσνє is willing to sacrifice.
Matthew 7:11
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Sin need to be punished. Jesus came to take the punishment for us. So that we can have His blessings and provision.
Galatians 3:13
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
We have hope. When Pastor Mark was so depressed until he wanted to commit suicide, Jesus’ hope shines into his path.
The path of the righteousness is brighter and brighter each day.
You do not need to live in depress. There is hope.
2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
Jesus wants us to know we can live out our lives in hope.
Jesus is sinless. He came and took the cross on Himself. He was beaten and He took all the stripes for us.
Only His ℓσνє, see His ℓσνє who can accept you and loves you.
We are New Creation Church. We are new creation in Him. We are blameless in His eyes.
Colossians 1:22-23
in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
God wants to give us good health
Look upon Jesus. There is hope
Let your past failure be past.
God wants to save you.
The path of the righteous is brighter and brighter.
We are made the righteousness of God in Christ. Our path is bright!
Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
