Matthew 17:1-8
Jesus Transfigured on the Mount
(Mark 9:1–13; Luke 9:27–36; 2 Pet. 1:16–18)
Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
We want to do for God but God opened the heaven and said it is not what we do for Him but is listen to His beloved Son, Jesus. Listen to Him.
Do His work, which is believe Jesus, His finished work.
Listen to Jesus. The disciples were afraid when they heard God opened heaven and spoke.
Jesus came forward and touched His disciples and told them fear not.
When we are afraid, what does Jesus do? He come forward and embrace you.
Jesus embrace you and said stand up, fear not.
ℓσνє embrace you.
Even in your weakness, fear not.
Those who are in Christ are not condemn anymore.
Jesus said fear not, He is always with you and He always provide for you.
When they looked up, they saw no one but Jesus only
Matthew 24:36-39
No One Knows the Day or Hour
(Mark 13:32–37; Luke 17:26, 27, 34, 35; 21:34–36)
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
When this dark season is over, the normal season will come. After the normal season we will go up supernatural. We will then be raptured. And after which there will be 7 years of dark seasons
We are citizens of heaven. We are both Singaporeans and citizens of heaven.
Philippians 3:20-21
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
Thank God we have a lot of packages our government gives us to support us. We have our heavenly package as well!
When we rapture, our bodies are renewed. We will be feasting prepared by our Lord Jesus.
We don’t go into menopause we go younger and younger.
The world go into economic depression. There are a lot of packages given by government.
Our heavenly Father gives us Grace Package!
We may be in this world and we have good government gives us packages to help us overcome, what more our heavenly Father gives us Jesus to overcome!
Do not worry, all are prepared well for us.
This grace package has prepared all for us!
1 Corinthians 2:7-9
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Jesus is almighty, glorious and yet He came to be on the cross.
When you see the cross you see His ℓσνє for you
Yes there are a lot of pandemic but we are in Christ. We have shalom in Him
John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
God wants us to not worry and relax.
God has won over pandemic
God has won over virus
God has won over economic depression
Problem is not big. Our God is biggest!
We have Grace Package!
Problem not big. Jesus is biggest! I have grace package
- Heaven Package
- Grace Package
To receive these packages is not what we do but is to receive by believing.
When Jesus took our sins, all the fire punishment were on Him.
God blesses us righteously when we receive Jesus
Jesus took on all the punishment on our behalf.
The glorious Jesus nailed on the cross.
There is blessing on the head of the righteous
This is gospel.
Romans 1:16-17
The Just Live by Faith
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Jesus wants to save us!
We are the righteousness of God in Christ.
We are in Christ ! Live it out!
We follow Jesus who is our righteousness. When we follow Him in the winding stairs we go up
When we are in the dark season, but we know we will be brought up in the dawn.
When we receive this grace package, knowing Jesus is our righteousness, we are the light in the darkness.
In the spiritual realm, we are in the dawn. The path of the righteous is brighter and brighter.
We are righteous in Jesus Christ
Proverbs 4:18
But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
We are in this world but not of this world.
Right believing produces right living.
God prepare for the ones He loves.
How heartwarming this is.
We have Heaven Package, Grace Package
We may see darkness in the reality but we have light.
Good things are happening to us!
In the spiritual realm good things are happening already.
We are righteous in Christ
This winding stairs bring us higher and higher and finally to heaven!
