[Chewing…Devotional 🤤🙌🏼]
In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.
Does the above look like what is in the world now? We feel like we need to run and be ahead. Be the fastest, “bestest” and we will win the race.
All are waiting to be the first to get “healing” they were looking for the healing not the Healer.
Now Jesus asked this man, “Do you want to be made well”
Instead of answering direct yes, he told Jesus the impossible situation and what he is facing…How he cannot be the fastest and always someone go ahead of him and takes his place.
Does he sound like how we feel sometimes?
For you shall not go out with haste,
Nor go by flight;
For the Lord will go before you,
And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
Are we worn out? Tired of struggling in impossible situation? Burn out on religion?
Jesus is here not to give us a religion but a relationship.
Get away with Me and recover your life!
Is our lives filled with struggles, fights? Jesus said come with Me and recover your life!
Enjoy the unforced rhythm of grace!
Grace came down ! Flow with Jesus!
Fight not, for Jesus is the One who fights our battle.
Chill! Let go and flow with Jesus and recover your life!
