It is well…it is well with my soul
My God is my 老大! I have Him who take care of me!
My God is not just the God of universe who takes care of big things. My God is my 老大! He is my backing! I can fear not because He is my God, my salvation (Saviour) and my hope!
He is available to me and His care for me is perpetual!
What am i fearful of missing?
I shall not be missed out! Trust in a God who is my Saviour and He said He is my God❗️
I am emotional being…my soul has the tendency to be floating around…especially when there is storm..i cannot take control anymore!
This hope that my 老大, my God gives, He anchor my soul! He is the anchor of my soul, both sure and steadfast! Jesus has entered for us and He is our high priest forever!
Anchor goes deep down into the ocean to secure us. Out in the surface, in the storm, we cannot see the anchor. But we know that we know, Jesus is our anchor!
He came down all the way from heaven to us, so that He can become the anchor of our soul! He plunged deep down into the ocean to secure our soul!
It is well…with my soul…it is well, it is well with my soul 🎶 🎵
We may be cast down…our soul may be disappointed…there is a big BUT
But hope in God! I shall praise Him! He is my Saviour and my God!
When there was storm, the seasoned fishermen were afraid. For them to be afraid of the storm, it must be really big overwhelming storm. Jesus came to them and said,” It is I, do not be afraid”
Are we in situation we are in storm that is too overwhelming for us? A storm we cannot handle and do not know how to handle?
Jesus said,” It is I, do not be afraid”
He plunged down into the deep and secured our soul with Himself!
Receive Him into our boat! And immediately! U see the word Immediately?
Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
There were no saying of the storm anymore.
The moment our Jesus is in our boat, and we see Him instead of our storm, immediately we are at the land where we are going.
Beloveds, Jesus is saying, it is I, do not be afraid.
It is well…it is well with my soul!
He has plunged down into the deep ocean and He has finished the work.
It is well with my soul.
