Lazarus died for 4 days.
Martha said to Jesus..
If You had been (past) here…
She was looking at the past and wish Jesus had done something in her past…
When Jesus said to her,” Your brother will rise again.”
She looked to the future…
I know that he will (future) rise again in the resurrection at the last day..
Jesus brought her back to present. Jesus is our present help!
He said
I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever live and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?
Jesus brought Martha to the present. Jesus is our present help. He is not thinking of how He can alter the past or how He will help you in the future (which He will. He has gone ahead of us) Jesus is looking at the present. He is our present help!
Martha said to Jesus, “ yes Lord. I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
Even in the midst of unbelief that Jesus is (present) He asked Martha to take away the stone.
Martha was afraid. Afraid to believe. Afraid to hope. She did not even think it was possible.
She said Lord by this time there is a stench.
Are we seeing our problems have not been solved for years and almost impossible? By this time there is a stench? Our problems seem to be “dead situation” for long until there is a stench?
Jesus said to her,” did I not say to you that if you would BELIEVE you would SEE the GLORY of God?
Jesus went ahead to perform the miracle. He resurrected Lazarus
Loose him, and let him go!
Our problems seem to be “dead and smell of stench”
Jesus is our PRESENT HELP.
He shouted loose him, and let him go!
Beloveds 💖, let Jesus be our present help. He will not allow the dead situation to be dead. He is our PRESENT HELP. Let Jesus loose them and let us go!
Let go and let God in! He did not need us to have full 💯 % faith before He is our present help.
Martha did not believe He will be her present help.
Jesus said if you would BELIEVE, you would SEE the GLORY of God!
