The Year of the Latter Rain
Revelation 19:6
And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
Israel receives 2 types of rain.
The early rain and the latter rain.
Pastor declared that this year will be a time of harvest for us and a time of manifestation. And the blessings from God will manifest quickly
Planted the word of God. What is it about the word of God you are believing for? What is the seed?
Ask and you shall receive.
Is it healing?
Provision?
Renewal of youth?
Health?
Zechariah 10:1
Restoration of Judah and Israel
Ask the Lord for rain
In the time of the latter rain.
The Lord will make flashing clouds;
He will give them showers of rain,
Grass in the field for everyone.
Let no man despise your youth
This “man” is also yourself
When David was a youth, he killed the lion and the bear. Spiritually. It was not by his strength. It was by the Lord’s strength.
When you encounter an issue, do you deal with it based on your smart? Lean not on ourselves. Lean on Jesus! Lean on the Lord like a youth and our youth renew like the eagle.
The land can come on your land but if there is no seed, it will not grow.
Deuteronomy 11:14-15
then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’
You are where you are, is the Lord who place you in. The situation. (Not sickness)
You are in that kind of financial circumstances, the Lord wants you to have the wisdom.
Follow God’s way.
Saving is always 20%
During a time of harvest, put aside 20%. This is saving principle.
When you give to God, you don’t have lesser.
Trust God with your finances.
God will give you rain in your season.
Latter rain season is a season where God wants to prosper you
He will give you the early rain and the latter rain at the same time.
Grain is health
Grass is provision, livestocks
Joel 2:23-26 YLT & Message – Teacher of righteousness
And He will cause the rain to come down for you – The former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
If only you will ask!
He will compress time and up the grain the health the anointing the livestocks (wealth)
Joel 2:23-26
Be glad then, you children of Zion,
And rejoice in the Lord your God;
For He has given you the former rain faithfully,
And He will cause the rain to come down for you—
The former rain,
And the latter rain in the first month.
The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,
And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you.
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
And praise the name of the Lord your God,
Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to shame.
Lean on Him. He will restore to you the years the locust has eaten!
God is the solution, He is not the cause. He will not pull you out of the situation to put u in.
There are real issues you are facing. Have you talked to the Lord? You want His way or your own way?
Listen to Him and He will guide you out of your troubles.
The word power – bride and groom form power
When the husband and wife agree on a matter, there is power!
Real prayer is talking to God and talking about God together!
The route to Emmas, the couple were talking about Jesus. Jesus was with them expounding to them about Himself in the Bible.
They went into the house and they broke bread. And when they broke bread, they realised He is Jesus and He disappeared.
Who is in the midst of you?
Jesus is in the midst.
God becomes real in your life when you talk about Him.
At the red sea, there was no where else to run. Moses was scared. He cried out to God where He is. God asked him why are you crying to Me? What is that in your hand?
When you throw the rod down you pick up by the tail, God is holding on to the head.
The rod stands for your career and your job! Hold it with loose hands and God will not put you to shame.
The devil likes to go about lonely and dry places.
Ezekiel 34:26
I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.
It is not good for us to be alone.
Man don’t need to be alone. It is for your safety
You have no power over me unless it is given from above.
You submit because your boss was placed above. You will not be shortchanged.
Covet earnestly His gifts
Shower of God’s blessings.
Blessed to be a blessing.
Poverty is a mentality. So is prosperity.
Stop behaving you are not provided for.
We want to know His ways. See things the way God sees it.
Showers of blessings on the church. Pastor’s vision is for us, those under his ministry.
James 4:3
You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
You have not because you asked not.
Wisdom has 2 hands. We want both.
Solomon did not ask amiss. He did not ask the wrong question.
You must have seeds in the early rain and the latter rain.
Ask! Ask from God.
By His stripe i am healed!
