Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”

Gideon
Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”
Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”
God called Gideon mighty man of God
He asked why has all this happened to us?
He quoted the bible and asked why
Did not the Lord bring us out from Egypt?
The enemies are fearful of Gideon.
Jesus came down as Man. He died as a Man and His light shone out to all men and all His enemies fled
God can raise a champion out of you. But He has a problem of pleasure having us
The Golden Shield
1 Kings 14:25
It happened in the fifth year of King Rehoboam that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem.
Gold in the bible is a type of righteousness
God’s righteousness
Bronze is a picture of judgement
Whoever look get healed.
Why Bronze serpent ?
Serpent is a representation of our sin and curses. Jesus hung on the tree. The serpent is a picture of the sin and curses. All our sicknesses, sin, are all hung on the tree.

These two shields
The father made it and gave it to the son
There are 2 types of shields-
- A God-given righteousness (given by our Father and of value)
- Self-righteousness (self-made and no value)
We are nothing without God.
How you react in the midst of bad happenings say whether you have faith in God or on other things

Message of righteousness by faith replaced by judgement consciousness in church (is when golden shield replaced by bronze shield)
When we try to keep up appearances we are holding up the bronze shield
Only the righteousness of God can quench the fiery dart
When things happen to you, how you react is very important.
Bible story is a story of reaction.
Joseph, his brothers abandoned him and sold him to a slave. He did not blame them.
When things happened, do you believe God or believe face mask?
It should not be a case you are with so much fear. Your reaction is very important

Proverbs 10:3
The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish,
But He casts away the desire of the wicked.
The body is the outer court
In the holy place there are 3 items
Mind emotion and will -> soul
He will not allow us to go into depression, to be sad, to be negative
Blessings are on the head of the righteous
Proverbs 10:7
The memory of the righteous is blessed,
The memory when you die.
People remember you when you passed on. You have a good name remember when you passed on.
Say I have the mind of Christ instead of this verse.
Proverbs 10:16
The labor of the righteous leads to life,
Must have labor. Must go to work.
Proverbs 10:24
And the desire of the righteous will be granted.
Will be – not immediately
Proverbs 10:28
The hope of the righteous will be gladness,
Proverbs 10:30
The righteous will never be removed,
God will cause you to bloom where you are planted.
God knows better where to plant you.
Be at the low place. Let God put you at the right place at the right time.
Declare today is a joyous day!
Pray for your day and it will happen!
Shield are for protection
Shield of faith in which you shall be able to drench all the fiery darts

the shield of Saul, not anointed with oil.
Youth be renewed like the eagle. Declare it !
God will provide the healing

God will provide the rest
If you feel defeated, consider this, could it be u have switched your gold shield to bronze shield?
Jesus died to give us righteousness, value it and lay hold on it in our lives and we will have victorious life.
The grain and wine is inside, the oil is anointed outside
The shepherd also anoint the sheep with oil to keep the flies away
Be at rest and not be anxious
