Developing the Hidden Man of the Heart
1 Peter 3:3-4
Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
Inside the heart of hidden man
We are safe and protected by all kinds of harm in the heart of God
Today we are looking at the word heart
1 Samuel 16:7 KJV
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
God looks at our heart
Before we are born again, our heart is wicked
Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Jeremiah 31:33
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
After those days, saith the LORD,
I will put my law in their inward parts,
and write it in their hearts;
and will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
People had to look at the law and follow the law before Christ died for us.
Heart spirit soul and body connect
We can now serve God, ℓσνє God, fellowship with God from our heart
We will desire the same desire of God in the new creation
Ezekiel 36:26
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

The middle part
The midst of spirit soul and body
This heart is the centre of our whole being.
A new spirit and a renewed heart
Spirit is like the wind. The wind blow we can’t see but we can see the effect of wind
Spirit is the breath of heaven
Inside this spirit has courage, patience. The spirit will depart at death and go to heaven to be with Jesus forever
Spirit is eternal.

Spirit and soul is inside this body
Heart
The main part related to the inner life is neither the spirit nor the soul but the HEART.
The heart links and connects our soul
The relationship between us and God does not depend primarily on our spirit or our soul but on our heart
The heart is neither the spirit nor the soul, nor is it separate from the spirit or the soul.
The heart is a composition of the 3 parts of the soul and one of the functions of the spirit: the MIND, WILL and EMOTION plus the CONSCIENCE.
The heart is almost a composition of the spirit and the soul, but not exactly.
We start our relationship with God first from the heart.
The heart controls these things, so the heart is the guard to the being.
Romans 10:10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Is the heart that believes
The heart now can believe
When we believe Jesus the Son of God who died for us, we believe with our heart
The spirit becomes born again
Kardia – heart
The heart also can think
The heart has thoughts and passion
The heart is where the passion, desires, appetites, affections
When we say we ℓσνє food, people, it is from our hearts
The seat of the intelligence is from our heart
Is the link between the spirit, the new born again.
The HEART is like an Entrance to fellowship with God
To enter into a building, we need to go through an entrance
For God to get into us, He first go through our hearts
Once the heart believes, it is like an entrance
Now God can come into our whole being
Ezekiel 36:26

At our conversion, He gave us a new heart
Before He can touch our spirit, He touches our hearts first
God deals with the heart
God deals with the mind
The heart- 4 parts: the mind, will, emotion, and conscience.
Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Repentance – change of mind
Changing the mind from sinner to Jesus has come, and He made me a son in Christ. No more worthless
At the point of receiving the Lord, the first thing is to repent.
Change this mind
When we ask someone if he or she wanna receive Jesus, it is important to share the gospel
2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The god of this age has blinded not the will, emotion, or conscience but the thoughts, the mind
The devil blinded the people mind
The blinding starts from mind
2 Corinthians 4:5
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
The whole conversion starts from mind
Conversion is not about saying the sinners prayers
The person has to believe from the heart
Conversion only God knows.
No one can see. Only God can see the heart. The inward
The Lord can touch the heart
The connection to the mind and the spirit
The light goes into the heart
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The object person before the camera – Christ
Light – God
The light from the figure (Christ) comes to the film (our heart) first through the lens (our mind)
Cover over the lens – satan
The satan needs to be removed. He lies to the mind.
The power is in the gospel
The one who removed cover from the lens is gospel
The light goes into our film which is the heart
The moment you believe, righteousness is imparted into you
The new spirit becomes born again
Now you can fellowship with God
There is a part of the heart
How we respond how we relate to man
This heart can make decision
This heart activate all the affections, compassions. We make decision from this heart which is the link to the spirit and the soul
Luke 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Between the spirit and the soul is the heart
The treasure will come out from this heart. From the passion. From the affection
The good man – the spirit
Treasure of the heart
Link the spirit with the soul and we can express ourselves
The heart is part of the spirit man but not fully
Conscience is part of the heart
ℓσνє needs to be expressed
Express from the heart
Everything deposited into the new spirit man will flow out through the heart
Proverbs 4:23
Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
A spring !
There is something we need to really guard is our hearts
Issues – flow out
Good things inside, will flow out good
Flow life
Whatever comes out is life
Guard our affection
Guard our desires
God sees David as man after His heart
That time they did not have a new spirit. But they had hearts. God sees their hearts
God looked into their hearts and chose them
David took care of God’s creation sheep
He fought with the lion to protect the sheep
The heart is desire and passion of God
Now we can have compassion
Before we are born again, our compassion is low
Romans 5:5
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
The life of Jesus
Chay – means green, flowing, new life
Zoe life that God gives us in Christ Jesus
Water us refreshes us
Full of life

So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are.
Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.

Take care and don’t let our heart affected
The spirit man is hidden inside this heart
The life of God
Wellspring of life
Jesus came and take away our sins
When you speak you ℓσνє them from the heart
Jesus has soft heart but not run down by people.
The peaceful and the quiet meek spirit
The spirit the heart the soul and the mind
Everything God has, will flow from His heart to ours
The meek and gentle spirit
We are drawn to Jesus bedside of His spirit
