Ark Of Covenant
Everyone of you are going to leave this place blessed. The problem will not be the same anymore. Either God removed it or God gives us wisdom for the problem.
We not only have fresh perspective, because is from God. We know we are doing it unto Him, we don’t have to try to impress someone, but unto the Lord. Knowing unto the Lord we will receive the reward.
Joseph was not proper employment, he was slave. Yet he got favour!
God gave Joseph favour! He was a slave but was a prosperous man. We are defined by the Lord is with us and we are successful.
Gold and silver come after, the Lord is with Joseph. God wants us to have more than enough to be a blessing!
God don’t want us to be greedy or love money.
Use money love people and not love money and use people!
Solomon asked for Hearing heart – wise discerning heart. God gave him riches like no other kings, and honour like no others
1 Kings 3:15
Then Solomon awoke; and indeed it had been a dream. And he came to Jerusalem and stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, offered up burnt offerings, offered peace offerings, and made a feast for all his servants.
The Ark of covenant also known as the ark of testimony. The 10 commandments is placed in the ark. Only Jesus fulfilled God’s law.
It was given to show man’s sinfulness.
Man is trying to use to show his righteousness
When we look at Jesus we are transformed from glory to glory.
We will give to people who don’t deserve it!
The very thing that the law cannot do, grace will give us impartation.
When we are led by the spirit we are not under law.
It is not fulfilled by me, but in me! Is passive. Allow ourselves to be led by Him.
Spirit of God will give prompting to us.
We don’t go by the 10 commandments. We go by the spirit.
When man try to keep the law, they produce the opposite!
What God says, we will do. The moment u try to keep the law, you do the opposite. The very trying is calling God a liar. By your own effort you cannot. Your very trying will produce the opposite.
The law does not understand doing your best. The law only know one thing. Do or die. When you put yourself under the law you are putting yourself under the curse. The 10 commandment is in the ark, never bring it out.
Eyes transfixed on the blood in the Ark.
Think about how much God loves us to give up on His Son for us.
Only an eternal Person can die for us.
God looks at the blood, we look at the blood.
Devil wanna us look at our thoughts. Look at the blood! Let my eyes see what God’s eyes see! The blood of Jesus!!
The centrepiece is the ark of the covenant.
Don’t get caught up with the shadow. Get caught up in the substance! The wood and the gold is His Person. The mercy seat is the work at the cross.
Proverbs 30:18-19
There are three things which are too wonderful for me,
Yes, four which I do not understand:
The way of an eagle in the air,
John 1
Gospel of John. The eagles fly higher than any other birds. Eagles can fly higher than aeroplane
The way of a serpent on a rock,
John 3
From eagle becomes serpent. How low He came for us! Down down down to bring us up up up!
The cross took place on a rock!
The way of a ship in the midst of the sea,
John 6
Jesus went up to the mountain and He saw His disciples in the storm
And the way of a man with a virgin.
The church is God’s hidden wisdom!
We are one new man in Christ!
2 Corinthians 11:2
For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
The way of a man with a virgin is what he don’t understand.
Book of Mark He is the tireless divine Worker.
Mark 6:47
Now when evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea; and He was alone on the land.
Why was David called the man after God’s own heart?
As a young boy he had something in his heart. He wanted to bring the ark. He had a heart for the ark. When you have the heart for the ark, God likes you and choose you!
God loves of us but someone He dislikes.
1 Chronicles 28:4
However the Lord God of Israel chose me above all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever, for He has chosen Judah to be the ruler. And of the house of Judah, the house of my father, and among the sons of my father, He was pleased with me to make me king over all Israel.
We are made in God’s image. We are like God.
Psalms 132:2-8
How he swore to the Lord,
And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
“Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house,
Or go up to the comfort of my bed;
I will not give sleep to my eyes
Or slumber to my eyelids,
Until I find a place for the Lord,
A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah;
We found it in the fields of the woods. (Waar)
Let us go into His tabernacle;
Let us worship at His footstool.
Arise, O Lord, to Your resting place,
You and the ark of Your strength.
1 Samuel 7:1
Chapter 7
Then the men of Kirjath Jearim came and took the ark of the Lord, and brought it into the house of Abinadab on the hill, and consecrated Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the Lord.
Ark of covenant is portrayed in the chapter of John.
John 1:41
He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ).
Jesus was found among the people. Though King, He walked among men. His Kingly He could not hide. When the demon said he knows who Jesus is, Jesus asked them to shut up and come out! He don’t need “advertisement” ;p
Wherever the ark goes, the thick walls fell down.
The ark was captured by the Philistines. There are people who called themselves christians but they are not born again! They are the Philistines. Goliath was a Philistine.
The priest who were taking care of the ark were corrupted.
They went to attack the Philistines. That is pride. They do things for filthy gains.
Psalms 78:58-61
For they provoked Him to anger with their high places,
And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images.
When God heard this, He was furious,
And greatly abhorred Israel,
So that He forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh,
The tent He had placed among men,
And delivered His strength into captivity,
And His glory into the enemy’s hand.
1 Samuel 5:2-4
When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon. And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s torso was left of it.
Jesus is the true Ark. Jesus knowing all things that will come upon Him.
John 18:4-6
Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?”
They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.”
Jesus said to them, “I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them. Now when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
Now that you found Me, let these (His disciples go) people go.
Children should be worshipping Jesus.
We have painting of Jesus Who looks weak.
We got to preach Jesus of the Bible! He is a willing captive.
People around us uses His name in vain. There is no other name but the name of Jesus!
Demon they bow at one name. At the name of Jesus, every knee bow.
When we have no prayer, say the Lord Jesus Christ. Not just Jesus.
When you can say Lord, you are saved! Everyone who believe Jesus will have eternal life!
Don’t allow anyone to make salvation a difficult thing.
I have power to lay down my life and to take it up again. – Jesus
We can lay down our lives but we can’t take it up again. Jesus can!
The entire city believed on Jesus and Jesus stayed with them for 2 days. The whole city was blessed! They knew Him as the Saviour of the world.
600 people from Garth followed David.
The ark was with them for 7 months. Instead of repenting their sin, they sent the ark away.
The answer to all of man’s problem is Jesus!
1 Samuel 6:14
Then the cart came into the field of Joshua of Beth Shemesh, and stood there; a large stone was there. So they split the wood of the cart and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the Lord.
House of the Sun. A place of brightness and a place of hope.
1 Samuel 6:19
Then He struck the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the Lord. He struck fifty thousand and seventy men of the people, and the people lamented because the Lord had struck the people with a great slaughter.
For the people who want to see the 10 commandments and bring out, they have to push aside the mercy seat! (The lid)
There are no error in the bible!
Original word is God’s breathed.
In numbers, the word for Aleph – can be for 1 or 1000, Aleph also can be leader.
Leaders should stop people from pushing aside the mercy seat.
The whole world is upside down.
Learn of Him and find rest for our souls.
We are not restful because we are proud
Pride goes before destruction. If you want to see before destruction how it looks like, is pride!
Water always find the lowest level. Grace will always find us when we are humble. With the lowly is honour. God gives grace to the humble!
What will come out from us is thanksgiving! When we live in grace! Just thank God.
Things may not work out the way it works out, but be grateful for what we have!
Thank God for all the clothing we have to iron, it means we have clothes.
People under the pretence to bring holiness to church, the way is i am made righteousness of God in Him! This teaching of grace, proud people don’t like it!
Galatians 5:4
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
The ministry of death, written and engraved on stones. God calls it a ministry of death
If you feel condemned you are killing your body slowly!
Grace produces holiness higher than that, which men attempted by the law.
You have a bad habit and Christ become of no effect. Because at that moment you are trusting your own efforts and your law-keeping.
Somehow the devil has a phrase for people who preach – the license to sin.
You are not under law but under grace.
Moses was a servant. Jesus is a Son. A Son dwell in the house forever. Grace and truth are together!
Anything that teaches you to look at yourself, you judge yourself.
Whoever of you justified by law, you are fallen from grace.
As many as reach out to Jesus, He healed them. Allow His goodness and His love to touch us first. We love because He first loves us!
Pray for the sick before they become christians. Jesus prayed for the people in the bible who are not christians. So start praying for people!
It is grace in the beginning, it is grace along the way, and it is grace when we see Him face to face.
When we believe in grace, we are not afraid of pride. We are humble.
John 8:5-9
Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.
So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
The holy spirit did not help us to memorise 10 commandments. The holy spirit help us memorise for God so loved the world.
Jesus wrote on the ground, finger on stone.
Jesus is the One who gave the law, before He became a Man.
Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground
He magnified the law.
Jesus stooped down twice! The 10 commandments was written twice!
The 2nd time when law was given, God asked Moses to put it in the ark!
The 2nd time Jesus stooped down, it was grace!
The people wanted to put the law on the woman and Jesus put the law on the people!
We must confess there is no condemnation.
The power of go-and-sin-no more is no condemnation.
John 8:10-12
When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
She said, “No one, Lord.”
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Sin is destructive.
If you sin you are destroying something in your life. God wants us to go and sin no more, is for us and not for Him.
This light is not to make us afraid. The light will show how perfect Jesus’ work is and how wonderfully clean we are, washed by Jesus!
People want God’s favor and blessing yet do not want to get close to God.
Let go of all the craps in your life! Pour out to God!
We are the church. Where is He other than Sunday? He is with us!! There is no condemnation!!
There is accuser voice.
God correct us in specific. He correct us in grace.
It is walking in the light not walking according to the light.
You are not in darkness. You are always in the light. Have a new testament mentalities.
See ourselves reflecting His glory!
The more you come the more you live!
His blood has been freshly shared!
You must come to God as if Jesus died just now.
God freely give us all things if God gives us Jesus!
