Ark of the Covenant
Why study the Ark?
Study Jesus. No matter what occupation you do, is to study Jesus.
Old Testament is the New Testament hidden.
New Testament is the Old Testament unveiled.
We are not under law but under grace.
Jesus Himself taught us how to study Bible.
Joseph was a slave yet he was a successful man. Everything he did, God caused him to prosper.
You can prosper in whatever area of life Jesus put you into.
Our Father in heaven has a purpose in putting you in this world.
God made one of you and destroyed the mould. Even twin, there is a difference
All of you are olympic champions!!
Compare to the running and swimming, no one could compare with you! You were the one who made it! Because you made it, you are born a champion!
Sin has made you a loser. Sin is defined as coming short of the glory of God!
When you have glory of God, you are strong healthy, no disease, have peace of mind and joy! Your mind is balanced. You are not distracted.
God’s best for us is to have peace of mind. God’s dream for us is to reflect His glory!!

Stand in the class of its own-
The way of man

Jesus died for the entire world. His death is for you and me. Some come slow some come faster.
Study the only furniture in the holy of holies.
Ark-
Acacia wood overlay with gold
The box- the person of Jesus
The Lid- the work of Jesus
Sacrifice to avert God’s wrath
The innocent died for the guilty. The first person to offer sin offering is God Himself. He clothed Adam and Eve with the skin of animal. Without shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin. All our doings come to nothing. We come bring Jesus. Come reminding God Jesus died for us.
Holy God can be righteous for making you and I righteous.
There are secret to be found in the Ark of the Covenant
Gold pot of manna
The people were complaining against Him for bringing them out to “die”
The rod of Aaron
The people complained against God’s appointed ministry
It is Jesus the minister must point to.
The 10th commandment is what got the Apostle Paul. If you break one commandment you are guilty of all. Everyone is guilty of breaking it.
Mercy rejoices over righteousness
The blood tells there is a death. The innocent comes to die for guilty.
Only One Person who can keep the 10 commandants! Jesus! We are in Him!
Joshua 5:13-15
The Commander of the Army of the Lord
And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.”
And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”
Then the Commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.
God’s way is opposite from man’s way. God is their Defence! God don’t want them to be strong in themselves.
Be quick in discernment when come to the presence of God.
The Lord’s presence is there.
There is no such thing as no time. When you don’t have time for your children, devil will have.
Whatever you ask (a petition; like a servant come to king) God. When we ask God, we don’t ask in that way. We ask in king asking King.
The Lord is the One who is the Captain.
God is not here to takes side, He is here to take over!
It is not our ministry, it is the Lord’s!
Talent don’t bring people somewhere up there, that people trust them beyond their characters.
Joshua 6:1-2
Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.
Glorious victory in the end! The entire Jericho fell!
Possessing our possession!
They saw walls so thick and high!
We are the 11th hour generation that will possess our possessions!!
God said “I HAVE GIVEN YOU”
SEE I have given you!
By sight it looks like i cannot do it. Doctor do their best naturally, God does it supernaturally!
God is the God who open Red Sea and He is the God who create miracles and still does!!
What you fail to hear may be the very thing that change your wrong believing to right believing.
We are constantly repenting! Repent means change our way of thinking.
God could have destroyed Jericho in numerous way.
Joshua 6:8-11
So it was, when Joshua had spoken to the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the Lord advanced and blew the trumpets, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them. The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard came after the ark, while the priests continued blowing the trumpets. Now Joshua had commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout or make any noise with your voice, nor shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I say to you, ‘Shout!’ Then you shall shout.” So he had the ark of the Lord circle the city, going around it once. Then they came into the camp and lodged in the camp.
You have to kill the male sheep for ram’s horn. This tell us Jesus Christ had to die. He is the male sheep. When we blow this ram’s horn, it is to proclaim His death.
Be careful about going back to the shadow when there is substance.
The last time the world saw Jesus alive was when He was hanging on the cross. Unbelievers did not see Him raise from the dead. He showed to the believers.
He is returning for us!
Jesus is beyond the cloud, He is at God’s right hand. We see Jesus by faith!
Rearguard came after the ark.
If Jesus is in the centre of your life, you are about to experience victory. It is always victory!
He always cause us to triumph.
This entire chapter when you see trumpet it is always the Ram’s Horn.
Leviticus 25:8-10
The Year of Jubilee
“And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.
Whatever you have lost, you get it back! Restoration!!
The 10th day is the day they proclaim liberty.
Trumpet (Shofar)
Shout – proclaiming the loud blast. Long blast on the 7th day.
Long blast and cut off. Proclaim Jesus’ death. He was cut off.
No ram caught by its horn unless the ram purposely go in by its head first.
Jesus being the Lamb without blemish, this Lamb was a unique Lamb. He went in head first. Unique situation. So that His body is not blemish.
9 short blast – 9 the number of holy spirit! When you pray in tongues, you release the 9 spirit of holy spirit.
The last blast is the long one.
Shout! For the Lord has given you the city!!
Proclaim and proclaim the Lord’s death!
Holy communion is silent way of proclaiming the Lord’s death
Take the Lord’s super, you proclaim the Lord’s death!
Whenever the devil sees you take the Lord’s super, he run far from us.
Take the Lord’s super.
Secret of victory-
God wants us to learn His ways. That is why we come to church.
God works with us! He does not work independently of people.
With God, I can
Without God i cannot
Without Jesus we can do nothing.
Don’t say anything, lift up Jesus, proclaim the Lord’s death!
Not take communion and immediately ask where is the result.
The people went around the Jericho one time, Joshua said shut up. Don’t say anything.
When you take the holy communion, after that, can you don’t say anything (example it is not happening lei..)
Your cancer, high cholesterol, whatever it is, the moment you take holy communion, something is happening inside.
God is starting at the root!!
Gifts of healing! Healing manifesting can be gradual
7 priest, 7 trumpets
7 right at the end, everything is complete.

Tongues Must Be Interpreted
But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching? Even things without life, whether flute or harp, when they make a sound, unless they make a distinction in the sounds, how will it be known what is piped or played? For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle (preaching)? So likewise you, unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air.
Teaching – giving revelation as well
All that is sounding the trumpet. If you want your Jericho to fall, ram’s horn proclaim the death of Jesus!
Both taking of the ark by David there were praise and worship
Compare the two taking of the ark, one is failure and the other one is success.
1 Chronicles 13:8 ‘s taking was a failure cos they use their own might.
1 Chronicles 13:8
Then David and all Israel played music before God(Elohim) with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals, and with trumpets.
1 Chronicles 15:28
Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord (Yahweh) with shouting (teruwah – long blasting) and with the sound of the horn (shofar), with trumpets and with cymbals, making music with stringed instruments and harps.
Focus on the Jesus, the Lord Jesus Christ and His death

7 is the number of perfection. Keep on hearing.
On the 7th day, they circled Jericho 7 times!!

Galatians 3:5
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among (and in) you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—
No leakage anywhere. Constant supply of the Holy Spirit.
God is constantly working miracles!
The people had victory as long as the lid cover the 10 commandments. What God has hidden, let it remain hidden!
The design of the 10 commandments is to show you up. The law is knowledge of sin. Not knowledge of righteousness.
We honour our parents, we don’t murder, we loves our wives.
Even if someone steals from you, there are abundance come back to you!
His hands is big compared to anyone! He supplies! He constantly supplies because He presents!
Is by the hearing of faith! Constant hearing!
Faith don’t come by having heard. It comes by hearing of faith!
1 Corinthians 1:21
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save (sozo-healed, deliver, protect) those who believe.
Hear good preaching. Ram’s horn proclaiming Lord’s death! A sound that proclaim the Lord’s death!
The Ark follows them. The Lord is attracted by ministries that proclaim the Lord’s death.
If you are sick and that disease is attacking your body 24/7, you should listen constantly.
Redeem the time! That disease don’t have a off day.
If you have been diagnosed, listen to the Word. Keep on listening and listening. Don’t give up too soon.
7 is a number of rest and completion.
Joshua’s altar still there now.
On the mountain of blessings there was no altar. The curses there was altar. We are not redeemed from blessings. We are redeemed from curses.
We all need Jesus.
Fame is not peaceful.
Joshua 6:25-27
And Joshua spared Rahab the harlot, her father’s household, and all that she had. So she dwells in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
Then Joshua charged them at that time, saying, “Cursed be the man before the Lord who rises up and builds this city Jericho; he shall lay its foundation with his firstborn, and with his youngest he shall set up its gates.”
So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout all the country.
When come to power of darkness, they are afraid of us. No one higher and greater, we have the Ark!
God can take all your messes and make a message out of it!
Jesus did not spend a night in Jericho. There was a curse by Joshua.
Don’t build what God has destroyed.
1 Kings 16:34
In his days Hiel of Bethel built Jericho. He laid its foundation with Abiram his firstborn, and with his youngest son Segub he set up its gates, according to the word of the Lord, which He had spoken through Joshua the son of Nun.
Curse from Joshua mouth was the word from the Lord spoken through Joshua.
Jesus came to the place of curse to find someone.
Mark 10:46-52
Jesus Heals Blind Bartimaeus
Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.
Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”
And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.
So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
God wants to supply and heal His people.
Health and wealth is not the gospel.
It promises we have no lack!
With His stripe, we are healed!
Jesus came the place of the curse.
Son of Timaeus (means impure)
The first time the ark came, destruction. The second time the ark came, came to Jericho.
Grace can find you when you are humble! When you said you don’t deserve it, this is humility.
Earth stopped for a while. That was the longest day in the bible. Jesus stood still! The cry of Joshua caused the Son to stand still.
The One who made the sun stood still.
Why did He stand still? Who is this person who makes the Son of David stood still?
Was he a powerful man? He was the beggar and a blind one.
He is the same yesterday today and forever.
Be of good cheers, raise!
How did he know how to call of Jesus on grace and mercy? He heard Jesus. He heard good things about Jesus. Trace the miracle all the way back, it is about hearing!
