Ours is the Lord’s day. Jesus died and rose again on a Sunday. Sunday is the first day of the week.
For us, Jesus rose on a Sunday which is number 8 in the bible and it stands for new beginning.
The principle of Psalm 92
It opens up with giving thanks to the Lord for His hesed. His lovingkindness
Hesed is the word grace
We give thanks for His grace
I shall be anointed with fresh oil!
Everytime you come to the Lord’s house, get ready for fresh oil! First press is green. You will be anointed with the freshest oil.
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree
2000 years old palm seed in Israel
They called it the Melchizedek’s tree
Those that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the court of our Lord
Plant here and you will flourish out there.
Fat – full of life. Full of sap
These people with advance years, when you come to the Lord’s house, you are forever green and full of sap
Do something and not just to sit down.
Possess all the possessions the Lord has for us
The fishermen toil all nights but caught nothing
Many times we fail to see how God wants to lavish His blessings on us
God is constant in His giving
We think that doing nothing is resting. There is world of difference between doing nothing and resting.
God has so much more for you. Don’t be lazy.
Jesus was all alone on the cross. Lover and acquaintances He has put far from Him. So that lover and acquaintances will be ours
When people insult you, reproach you, Jesus took that as well.
Don’t be the one to receive it.
The reproach of them that reproach us fell on Him
Though He was rich, for our sake He became poor
Wisdom from God
If everything he touches prosper, I will put everything under him
The Lord make him to prosper
The Lord is constantly giving. Are we constantly taking.
A relax receptivity
There are more with us now than out there in the world. The things that are not seen are eternal
Our bodies are not eternal
The spirit are eternal
You cannot see it is more real
We need the wisdom of God
Joseph had favour
Esther had favour
What we need is the favour of God
Favour you can’t touch it. God gives you favour
God gives you favour.
We forget to thank God for the things He has given us
God protects us more than we realise
God is always under-thank, under-worship
There are times God protects us more than we know
Joshua 1:2-3
“Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.

Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them. But there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes which had not yet received their inheritance.

The Land of Asher
The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families. And their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph, Alammelech, Amad, and Mishal; it reached to Mount Carmel westward, along the Brook Shihor Libnath. It turned toward the sunrise to Beth Dagon; and it reached to Zebulun and to the Valley of Jiphthah El, then northward beyond Beth Emek and Neiel, bypassing Cabul which was on the left, including Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon. And the border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea by the region of Achzib.
Asher his name means happiness
God’s provision is big. When God gives us a vision, it is big
If God gives us a vision, it is big and we cannot complete ourselves
It requires God, we are willing to believe
Walk the ground
God has so much to give and it pains Him for not able to give.
Our part is believe and possess!
When there is no one to give, imagine the pain
God wants to give so much. It pains Him that people want to do it themselves
God is waiting for someone who is willing.
Constant flow of holy spirit
God is always working in us
There are danger to be wealthy and rich
There are so many wealthy people in Old Testament that God is using. Solomon
Be careful and don’t make decision based on money. Love people and use money
Go into all the world and preach the gospel
Joshua 1:2-3

Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.
When you step out, don’t worry about it. God will be with you
Fear is not of God
God promised no enemy will stand before you. He will never leave you nor forsake you!
Judges 1:31-32
Nor did Asher drive out the inhabitants of Acco or the inhabitants of Sidon, or of Ahlab, Achzib, Helbah, Aphik, or Rehob. So the Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land; for they did not drive them out.
The influence you have by been in charge
You walk towards the evil spirit it will disappear
Face the fear. Take the first step
In the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
If God is behind it, there is profit
There are 2 prophesies spoken to Asher
Genesis 49:20
“Bread from Asher shall be rich,
And he shall yield royal dainties.
His bread is going to be excellence
Asher street of land is riches and most fertile
Deuteronomy 33:24-25
And of Asher he said:
“Asher is most blessed of sons;
Let him be favored by his brothers,
And let him dip his foot in oil.
Your sandals shall be iron and bronze;
As your days, so shall your strength be.
You can see the favour of God in their face
The radiance can be seen in the face
As your days, so shall your strength be.
The bread shall be rich.
Jesus multiples the loaves and fishes
There is power and healing virtue when they touch Jesus
There is only gospel of grace and peace. Not health and wealth but they are the byproduct
More than enough – wealth
We believe in healing – health
People who are wealthy has more problem. The sin is in trusting in the riches
Trust in riches
But there are people who has riches but don’t trust in riches, they trust in God
Matthew 15:21-28
A Gentile Shows Her Faith
(Mark 7:24–30)
Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”
But He answered her not a word.
And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”
But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
The Lord will not respond if you come in pretence
The sin that Jesus hates the most is the sin of hypocrisy
This is pretending to be what you are not.
When sometimes you cannot understand God’s hands, always trust His heart
You are the children of God
You take bread (holy com) everyday when you are sick
Take like you take medicine
Asher was comfortable and lazy
Even when you are lazy under grace, Jesus will come to you
