Every single Sunday people are encountering Jesus
You have a problem, you take the journey and it becomes answered by the Lord
Genesis 15:1-5
After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
But Abram said, “Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”
And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”
Do not be afraid
He knew Abraham was afraid
I am your shield your exceeding great reward
He is saying I am here, I have the answer
Abraham completely ignored what the Lord said
God knew the answers to Abraham’s questions
The Lord knows. He is giving us today
His problem was he saw himself childless
The Lord brought him out and showed him the sky and star
Recount the story that is been told
Feel the inner imagination with the story of His redemption
Starts with Virgo with a child, and that is Jesus and ends with Leo the lion of Judah, Jesus on the throne
The Lord is changing our vision
At age of 100, his miracle child came
A miracle from a faithful God
It started when Abraham changed his vision
Genesis 6:5 (KJV)
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination (yetser, from yasar) of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed (yasar) man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
You are more loved, more anointed, more blessed than you know
Allow the Lord to paint His faith pictures in your heart
Matthew 12:34-35
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Out of the abundance, let our hearts going from need to fulfilment and fullness
First see God’s Faith picture
See God’s abundance
Prayer is not duty
Prayer is dependence
Immediately you start your day with dependent not duty
I get to run to God and depend on Him
Prayers is not persuasion
David spoke forth encouragement to himself
Speak to the mountain and speak to your heart
Mark 11:23
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Only Jesus. When Jesus becomes so real in the imagination of your heart, it starts to produce and create lives
Create healing, resurrection lives
Speaking, believing, these are so important
When Jesus paints His pictures in our heart, everything around our us starts to change
There is a God who loves us so much
This God is a God of the impossible
See what God has done
Only Jesus
Turn our eyes and see His redemption
We begin to fill His imaginations in our heart
We dare to speak out and declare it
Speak to our hearts
See the imagination in our hearts bring forth
Prayers is not persuasion
Romans 4:20-21
He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
We are seldom persuaded by a product but by a Person
Today why are you fully persuaded?
Our God went to the cross. He went to the cross, gave His back to the people. He gave His life for us.
They pulled His beard, they nailed Him
If God has given His life, what more can’t He gives
Don’t be persuaded by externals
Be fully persuaded when you see Jesus raised from the grave
Don’t give in to the condition that you see in your body.
Don’t give in to the thoughts people has said and done to you
Be fully persuaded that what He promises, He will also perform.
“Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say, “The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?””

If you have a need, Jesus is your answer.
