How to be build up in grace [Sermon Note]

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them —yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
Put your children under grace
People are so broken in the society today.
We see people experiencing deeper level of depression
If you are broken today, the grace of God will build you up
Acts 20:32
“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
Walk in with the gift of no condemnation
You are more than conqueror!
Why can you say there is therefore now no condemnation?
Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
We are forgiven according to the riches of His grace
Forgiveness of sin, grace, cannot be a doctrine we understand. That has no power in our lives.
Grace is not just a doctrine. Grace is a Person. Grace and Truth came!
When we face condemnation and suffer guilt, by the abundance of grace, we have salvation, the forgiveness of sin, simply by His undeserved favour.
When we receive the abundance of grace, we will reign in life.
Sin cannot be swept under the carpet.
Sin must be seen to have been paid for, atone by the blood of the sinless glorious Son of God
John 1:17-18
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
I am righteous through Christ
No matter what, Jesus could heal me!
When we hear that we have failed, steep in addiction, the Lord does not condemn us.
Hope is arising in so many hearts today
- Simply believing
Hebrews 12:18-21
The Glorious Company
For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. (For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.” And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”)
Mount Sinai where the law was given. Today we are no longer on Mount Sinai
Even though we are not on Mount Sinai, our mind goes back to it
Darkness gloom and storm, we have mentally placed demands on ourselves the demands of Sinai
The voice of words begged that these words not to be spoken. These words are “you have not…”
If you have been under this, you will end up with dark thoughts.
There are people who think they don’t need grace
Realised who is in heaven. The One in heaven, His standards are perfect.
No one, the best of us, will fail miserably
Grace will supply to us what we cannot do
How much more! You will know how ugly the flesh is
The thoughts that we think. Just the thoughts alone will send us straight to hell. A God so holy, the highest holiness is grace.
Grace went to the cross.
Get out of the Sinai mentality
We are on Zion
In Zion, it is the city of the living God
The heavenly Jerusalem, the city of peace
Everlasting.
When you have that revelation of God’s grace, a miracle pops up in your life
Open heaven pour out
Hebrews 12:22-24
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
We are just man. Righteous man and woman.
By one offering, Jesus has perfected us forever.
Keep putting yourself in Zion
1 Peter 5:5
Submit to God, Resist the Devil
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
Go and find family in church.

The prodigal son story
The father did not stop him. He took the money the father gave. Just spend it all.
He went back. The father saw him from afar off. Whatever you are going through today, don’t let anyone tell you God does not care.
God is looking out for you even when you don’t care.
God not only look, He RUN.
Can you see God running to you today?
What is your need today? The Lord is running to you.
The father fell on his neck. That was how much the father long for his son. He kissed and hugged him.
He knows everything. He said bring the BEST robe.
Trust be told, many times we don’t care.
The Lord said the BEST robe for you! The best robe is the robe of righteousness
God did not just make us righteous. He made us the righteousness of God in Christ.
Today we stand complete in Him
Everyone complete the righteousness of God in Christ
He took the signet ring and gave to his son. Signet ring is a ring that can provide him with finance
The Lord said I will restore
It is so hard for us to trust.
When you and I know this love, we will reign in life!
Sin will not have dominion over us
We will reign in life
He wants us to live that life celebrating His love
