God is proud of you [Sermon Note]

Things don’t happen by default. They happen by design.
The church is always looking for methods but God is looking for man.
Waiting season does not have to be a wasting season.
Jesus is our Reward
We serve a God who gives us exceedingly above all that we ask or think
He gives us double for our troubles
God cannot heal what we hide. Take out the mask.
He can bring healing, mercy and grace
2 Corinthians 6:18
“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the LORD Almighty.”
Do you have some Daddy issue?
Children want to hear from their Dad, “ i am proud of you”
In Christ Jesus, you hear from Daddy God, He said I am proud of you!
He is proud of you!
We desire to be needed.
We desire to be loved.
Jesus is in your heart
If we don’t confront our issues, we cannot recalibrate
The most important you is what you think about God
The way i perceive Him determine how i receive from Him
What is the mental image you have today of God?
God wants you to know Him
Romans 1:19-20
because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
Just look up into the heaven and you will discover God
Hebrews 1:1-4
God’s Supreme Revelation
(cf. John 1:1–4)
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
God is revealing more about who He is like
Jesus is a walking talking picture of God
It was Jesus who created those stars.
If you want to hear from God, look to Jesus
If you want to know what is God’s posture towards you, look to Jesus
We relate to God like He is our Father
Father is the christian name for God
When i said God, i want you to see Father
How can God be proud of us when we did not do anything?
There is nothing we can do or do to make God proud of us.
Jesus was baptised when He has not done any miracles yet.
Luke 3:21-22
John Baptizes Jesus
(Matt. 3:13–17; Mark 1:9–11; John 1:29–34)
When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
I am proud of you because you are My child
God simply desire your presence. He is proud of you. He is pleased with you.
Ephesians 1:17-18
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
We tap into God’s power.
It changes the way we behave and walk when we know the glorious Father
There is no doubt that mercy is a gift
I have a merciful Father
Before we think about how do i pray, what do i pray, think about who do i pray
You cannot send a package without address
Is the cross of Calvary.
Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
Hear the voice from heaven. I love you, i am so proud of you
Deal with the things that are blocking us from receiving the truth
I wonder what is blocking you from the view of your heavenly Father?
You are the son. You are son by birth, not by worth
We are to be born again to be in the family of God
If you don’t let God heal those wounds, you will bleed on people who cut you
Do you feel left behind?
If you do not place God in proper order, your life will be out of order
Jeremiah 2:13
“For My people have committed two evils:
They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters,
And hewn themselves cisterns—broken cisterns that can hold no water.
A system is meant to hold water
U just need to tell your dad you are hungry and your needs are met.
How much more our heavenly Father!
We don’t need to find our needs in the wrong place
Tell your Daddy God, i am hurt. I am hungry. Everything u long for, everything that was missing, He feels those places.
He is so good. He loves us so much. He meets our needs.
How are you going to impress God?
He loves you. Let Him restore you and heal you. God can heal your broken heart. Just give Him your broken pieces.
The world today is going through identity crisis. We don’t know who we are.
Before you do one thing, God wants you to know you are my boy, you are my son, you are my girl, you are my daughter
The Father speaks life over you.
You are My child.
This is My son whom I love!
Some of you never hear anyone said i love you
You are loved.
What is love?
God is love. Love never fail.
Jesus never fail. Jesus is patient. Jesus is kind.
He always protects. He never fails. You are loved today.
You might be older in years, but Daddy God still love you and hugs you tightly
The love of the Father don’t just save you, He strengthens you
Jesus was baptised when He has not done any miracles, and Heavenly Father said, “He is my Beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased”
You are not just survival, you are overcomer.
Dad, am i doing a good job?
Am i doing this right?
You are doing better than ok
Affirmation from Dad is so different
Holy Spirit is telling you today, you are doing better than ok. He loves you.
He got a future in line for you
A good heavenly Father
The Lord will receive me
He is a father to the fatherless
He is a everlasting Father.
He sees you today and He says I love you and I am proud of you.
Majority of the children’s first language is “dad dad, papa”
Go back to your first word when you don’t know what to do.
He heals you. Spring of living water will fill you
I love you, you are My child!
He is a good Father.
