You have a high calling in life.
When you are placed in your mother’s womb, there is a purpose and a call.
You can be a royalty but there is a trap like a prisoner
The more famous they are, they are living in a little polished prison
You were born with a purpose.
Been known by a lot of people is not what give you purpose in life.
Your life don’t have to be great to live a great life.
There is a lot of beauty in small things in life.
Everyone wants to be mighty mountain.
Running for fame and fortune is not fulfilling in life
The only deliverance is believe in Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God, the way the truth and the life
Is Jesus only! No other salvation.
Each of you have a calling in you.
You are more royal than the greatest royalty
You are more fulfilled and truly fulfilled than the greatest royalty.
All the things you can dream of, Solomon dreamt of it
Whatever Solomon wanted, he had it.
He had the gift of wisdom
Whatever his eyes wanted, he did not restrain himself. Yet at the end he ended up empty.
Jesus will give us fulfilment
If you are famous, it is used to serve the Lord
The biggest deal comes when we are serving the purposes of the Lord.
He that loses his life for My sake and the gospel, he finds his life!
You thought the things you are chasing after will fulfil you. Don’t waste your life.
You have a high calling in life.
Hosea 6:2-3
After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
You live in the future by worrying about future
Revive – to restore to life
To restore to life after 2 days
2000 years
Jesus rose on the 3rd day. He rose again from the dead early in the morning
2022 is early in the morning
He will revive us! He will give life!
Life and health!
All kinds of plaques happening now.
God is so gracious. He gives us varieties of taste.
Your sense of excitement and pleasures, God give it to you!
If you enjoy the pleasures of this life, think of what God gives you.
We are the people on the third day.
He will raise us up and live in His sight.
Latter and former rain
In all our sowing we are fully dependent on the Lord.
God uses the lost the last and the least
The early rain is to prepare for seed
The latter rain is for harvest
The early rain is in March
Pastor’s first rain (daughter: Jessica) was born in early Nov – early rain
Justin (his son) was born in March – former rain
A teacher is like shooting rain drops to His people
The nation of Israel might be the first one to hear the gospel.
John 2:1-2
Water Turned to Wine
On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.
We are the 3rd day Christians. There is going to be a wedding
A handing of rewards and a wedding
7 in the bible is the number of perfection
In 7 sentence, Jesus declared who He was to the woman at the well.
John 4:40-43
So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. And many more believed because of His own word.
Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”
Welcome at Galilee
Now after the two days He departed from there and went to Galilee.
Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him
Your Father knows you have needs before you ask Him
Before we call, He will answer.
After the 2 days, Jesus went back to His people
John 4:46
A Nobleman’s Son Healed
So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.
John 11:5-7
Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was. Then after this He said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.”
God respect your free choice. He gives you free choice
Free choice there is a risk.
Man chose the wrong thing
Jesus stayed 2 more days
Than AFTER THIS, He went back to His people.
There are more believers in Israel now than ever. Revival is happening in Israel.
Judea – you get the word Jews
Law and principles of provision and supplies
The early rain don’t come at the time of latter rain. There is a purpose for it.
God does not give you grace in advance of your needs.
When you are in front of your needs, your grace comes.
We are living in prophetic time!
Joshua 3:1-4
Israel Crosses the Jordan
Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over. So it was, after three days, that the officers went through the camp; and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.”
The ark is the picture of Jesus
You are going to have bodily resurrection 2000 years after Jesus resurrected
We look around we are stressed.
We look at Jesus, we are blessed
Joshua 3:8-17
You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, ‘When you have come to the edge of the water of the Jordan, you shall stand in the Jordan.’ ”
So Joshua said to the children of Israel, “Come here, and hear the words of the LORD your God.” And Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites: Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan. Now therefore, take for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one man from every tribe. And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.”
So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.
Types and patterns for us to see.
Canaanites means like business, bartering
In the kingdom of God, the first thing we need to defeat is self-righteousness
Not when we do this, God will do this for me
Don’t think we give God something, He will give us something.
Whatever we have is from Him
Both riches and honour comes from Him
What is necessary is what God says about you and what your family says about you.
Canaanites – barterers
Hittites – terrors, fear
Hivites – Squatters
Perizzites – Unwalled villages, no protection
Girgashites – dwellers in clay
Amorites – slander
Jebusites – down-trodders
Squatters – the enemy put the wrong thoughts in your believing and the enemies are squatting on your inheritance
Perizzites – you feel unprotected
When you go to your sleep, and you feel unprotected.
In His arms you don’t have to feel vulnerable
Dwellers in clay – clay is your body. People in flesh. We must learn to walk in the spirit
Slander – the focus is very much focus on anti-Christ
Promotion is coming! He is going to raise you up in love, joy and peace!
Slandering a believer can cause trouble!
Joshua 3:15
and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest),
All the curses, the evil consequences that came in because of Adam’s fall, God is going to slap it back all the way to Adam
Adam and all the distress and trouble will all be dispersed on the 3rd day!
Joshua 3:16
that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho.
Zaretan – distress
God does not give grace in advance of your needs.
Today with strength in His arms
Go towards the river Jordan
Step into the water before the water passed
He will not supply to you until you are in the midst. This takes faith.
Go by faith!
You don’t want to keep still oil.
You shall be anointed with fresh oil. Pour out the oil. Water that is running is always fresh!
You shall not see the supply until you are in the middle of it.
Step up in faith
