When God speaks to Abraham, He speaks generationally.
May you live to see your children’s children.
First reason for long life is to see Jesus
In the 2nd coming of Jesus, the people are advance in age but don’t see death, they will see Jesus face to face. We are not looking forward to grave. We are looking not for undertaker but to uppertaker.
Your redemption draws near.
Your trouble will melt like wax in the name of Jesus.
Advertisers are targeting your hearts.
Your head is not interested
Your heart is interested
The word of God outlast facts
The fact may not be permanent. God’s truth outlast the facts
A lot of our problems today is because of our flesh.
Once upon a time you had the sinful nature. But once you believe Jesus Christ died for your sins and divine exchange takes place, we receive His righteousness and therefore we are the righteousness of God in Christ.
The original Word is inspired. Translators may differ.
The original said flesh.
If anyone is in Christ, you are a new creature
Our part is to believe.
You have the flesh. The flesh is like the lifestyle, the sensation that don’t exist anymore.
When you sin, we are not saying you did not sin.
Once we see Jesus in the rapture we are forever healthy, glorified body.
The sin is in the flesh. Your body is not dirty. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Outer court holy place and holy of the holies.
The body = holy of holies
Your body has been bought by Jesus’ blood.
If the person is willing to pay for it, that is the value.
Your value is shown there. Never feel you are a face in the crowd.
It is no reason to take your life or go down depression. Your worth is not tied to your occupation or what you do.
You cannot based on things that are moveable.
Based on God, unshakeable.
You don’t do to become. You have already have become. So that you can do.
Which one comes first?
You don’t do to become. Now you do what you are.
The mind change is to realise who you really are.
Trying harder mentality is not based on New Testament teaching. Trying harder is you are not there.
Indicative is who you really are
You are seeing something which is real.
Death and judgement are behind us.
Grace and glory! You are on the other side of the grave.
Don’t expose your life for the enemy to hit you.
Root life is hidden life
Seeing what He wants you to see.
Put to death the manifestation, the deeds of the body.
Realise who you are. Don’t let bitterness bully you. They are under your feet.
Romans 6:12
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Why is “therefore” there?
There are people who loves sermons who tell you what to do
Because you have received, now….
Experience God’s love! When you live loved
Know you are someone dearly loved.
He has made you loveable in His sight!
Her rest is found in the 7th
7 in the bible is the number of perfection
Most Jewish people bypass the city of Samaria but Jesus said He must go through
Romans 6:11
Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:9
knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
One of the things that cause a lot of tears is death.
He cried because He knew His Father and Him plan for men to enjoy life and death is not part of God’s plan. God consider death as enemy.
Romans 6:10
For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
Jesus died to sin once and for all. Not gradually
Once and for all! No future repeat
Death is behind Him
Romans 6:11
Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Reckon – as the facts are estimate, account it, according to the fact
Faith is not seeing what you have, but God said you have, whatever God said you have, you have!
Based on spiritual reckon!
Likewise means in the same manner.
In the same way, Jesus died to sin once and for all.
Reckon based on spiritual reality
When you feel the temptation, it is a lie. We are not defined by this.
Romans 6:12
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Don’t let your car control you, control your car.
Meek – strength under control
You can hit back but you don’t hit back
People push your button you don’t hit back.
David and Goliath
David was 17 years old when he faced Goliath. He did not use nice term. He said today God will deliver Goliath to his hands. God was with David. This is boldness in God’s eyes.
Honouring the occasion
Indicative comes before imperative
The becoming happens before the acting.
You know why you try harder?
Do you try harder when you speaks your mother tongues? Easy!
The idea of trying harder means you are not you. Try harder to become what you are not.
The more we rest and relax, the more who we are in Christ will come forth.
Most feeling come and go
You may experience it but it is not you
I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I feel depressed at times but i am not depressed
Ephesians 4:22-24
that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
You have put off the old man.
What you are putting off is your former conduct.
Sometimes past experience is so real
Imagination is put in your heart. It is not based on facts or truth. Imagination replicate reality.
Represent
Re (repeat)
Present (make it present)
When you change your imagination, you change the heart
Be renewed in the spirit of your mind
Put off is done deal. Finished already.
We already are, what we are by grace.
When you focus on people who are criticising you, you are giving them the power.
Be the actor not the reactor
Slap on Right cheek is a show of challenge
They want this reaction – React angry because i am angry with you
Turning the other cheek means be actor not the reactor.
Ephesians 4:24
and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
If you know who you are, you can line your action up.
You are not unholy
See on the inside
The first mention of the heart in the bible – imagination goes with the heart
Genesis 6:5
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Imagination of the thoughts of his heart
The more you look at other people’s life, the more depressed you are.
Watch what you see. Guard your heart.
The Son can do nothing of Himself but to see what the Father do
In the ancient time, God speaks to the prophets
Today we are all kings and priests
The devil wants us to use our words against ourselves
The power of life and death is in OUR tongues not in the devil’s
Don’t ever speak against ourselves
Watch what we say
1 Samuel 9:9
(Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
The Seer
We are all kings and priests
No one can make you angry. You must know what they say to be hurt. Who is the one making you hurt? They cannot make you angry. You make yourself.
My God is El Shaddai
I am the righteousness of God in Christ
I am a brand new creation
I will think of new way
I will watch my eye gate, ear gate
Put your mind on the things that are wholesome.
