[Sermon Note] Understand The Times
Preached by Pastor Prince
Just one word from God would save life forever. By foolishness of preaching. The preaching of God’s word.
It appears foolish. It is by the foolishness of preaching to sozo.
Out of the eater comes forth food
God will bring something sweet. When God restores, He restores greater.
Judges 14:14
So he said to them:
“Out of the eater came something to eat,
And out of the strong came something sweet.” Now for three days they could not explain the riddle.
Nothing by our works or through our accomplishments
When Jesus died on the cross we died with Him on the cross.
He took everything of the old man.
The old body are borne by Jesus Christ. It is all redeemed at the cross.
Celebrate the fact we have died with Christ at the cross.
When Christ rose from dead, we rose with Him.
Out of dark place God brought forth food.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
The Comfort of Christ’s Coming
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

The rapture happen we will have brand new body
Philippians 3:20-21
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
Transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body
1 Corinthians 15:51
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed
The rapture is a mystery.
Genesis 5:24
And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
2 Kings 2:11
Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:51
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—
We shall not die. We fall asleep.
God transform our bodies.
We stay young and strong and powerful forever! Forever is a long time.
Anytime rapture can happen. Soon!
When you see Him you will be transformed.
We will meet the Lord in the air.
With every passing day, another enemy is put under His feet. It will be conquered in reality as well. The price was paid at the cross. Redemption by blood.
Ephesians 1:21
far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
There is a difference between rapture and the second coming.
We are not looking forward to anti Christ. We are looking forward to Jesus Christ.
Next event we are looking for is the rapture of the church.
Overwhelm with the joy!
Be filled and fully alive and know we will never be sick again.
John 5:24
Life and Judgment Are Through the Son
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
Second coming of Christ is physical. He will come in person. His feet will touch down.
His feet will touch down on the Mount of Olive.
Rapture, no one can see Him except us.
Rapture He is coming for His church
2nd coming, He is coming with His church.
Jesus will be ruling.
The day of the Lord has come.
Out of the eater comes forth food
Out of the strong God will bring forth sweetness.
We see God bringing light out of darkness.
God will bring light out of this darkness.
We will see God in a clearer way.
Isaiah 60:2
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Lord Jesus when He was in His hometown, He went to the synagogue.
Jesus portion was from Isaiah 61 about Messiah.
Luke 4:17-20
And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
Where He closed the book, the church got to learn to close the book. Where He opens we open, where He close we close.
Luke 4:19
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
Free favour of God profusely abounds
We are still in it. We will come to an end at the rapture.
Acceptable – Ratson
His first coming was not to bring vengeance
His first coming was to restore
John 8:6 KJV
This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Grace is not natural
To get good I don’t deserve
To enjoy undeserved favour from God
All the good come to us are all by the grace of God
Grace is unearned undeserved favour
All the testimonies give all the glory to Jesus. Although they are appreciative to the “delivery boy” aka the preacher
2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 NIV
The Man of Lawlessness
Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter —asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
When anti Christ is revealed the whole world will be after him.
There is no mark of the beast. Don’t let people say if you do that and this, that is the mark of the beast.
Luke 21:9
But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”
You dwell in the secret place of the most high.
You are safe in His hiding place.
When you fall in love with Him you fall in love out of sin.
A great part of the bible is prophesy.
1 John 3:3
And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
People who are depressed see no hope for their future
The hope of salvation
2 Corinthians 5:18-21
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
God is not imputing our transposes to us.
We are still under dispensation of grace
God has given you and I the word of reconciliation.
God is not counting our sin against us.
Now come back to God. God is not mad at you.
The same blood He shed at the cross tore the veil.
God is righteous in making us righteous.
God is not mad at them. God has made everything so easy. The pre believers do not need to go to physical church. God has brought salvation so near them
God is not mad at you. God wants to reconcile you.
In His presence, fullness of joy.
Romans 10:8-9
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
He loves you right now. In spite of all your sins. God is saying come home.

God brings something sweet out of the strong
Goodness and mercy follow us. No one can snatch us out of His hands.
Isaiah 45:2a
‘I will go before you
