Sermon Note
Pastor Prince
You can hear a personal word just for your condition and circumstance.
People of all different nations came to Jerusalem on the day at Pentecost. The different nationalities heard in different languages when they were praying in tongues. One word from God can change your life forever.
As the Word goes forth, God performed the miracle.
1 Corinthians 1:21
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
Acts 14:9
The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
You see God takes over and give you ideas dreams and visions when you are preaching
God is going to do amazing things for families, relationships. He is going to turn water into wine.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
We regard no man from human point of view (for new creations, people who are born again)
Call forth what God sees.
2 Cor 5:16 RSV
From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once regarded Christ from a human point of view, we regard him thus no longer.
Mark 6:3
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Mark 6:5 AMP
And He could not do a miracle there at all [because of their unbelief] except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 He wondered at their unbelief.
View Jesus the way God wants us to view Him
As a Saviour, the Redeemer
John 9:7 ISV
and told him, “Go and wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated “Sent One”). So he went off, washed, and came back seeing.
See Jesus as the Sent One
The Lord wants to save not just you, but your family members.

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts 16:34 NLT
He brought them into his house and set a meal before them, and he and his entire household rejoiced because they all believed in God.
Because of you, there is a big hole in the family for God to bless your family and save them.
Genesis 7:1
Then the LORD said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.
Exodus 10:23
They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
Light in their dwellings
God wants to bring light in your dwellings.
Isaiah 60:2
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The glory of the Lord will be seen upon you.
It is the time we are living in. Forces (wealth) of the Gentiles will come to you
Children of Israel’s lights are supernatural.
For the people of God, it is like the rising of the noon day sun
Malachi 4:2
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Listen to messages that proclaim the true God. The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
When we see Him, we see love. The very being of God is love.
Love keeps on giving and doing.
We are dead with Christ and risen with Him.
Romans 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
The people of the world are dead in sin.
We, children of God are dead to sin.
We are not on the other side of the Red Sea. We are on the other side where we see all the enemies dead.
Exodus 14:30
So the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.
Romans 6:6
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
We died to sin once and for all.
Romans 6:9-11
knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We were raised with Him, our sins are forever gone! The old Adam that is rebellious is completely gone. Reckon yourself died to sin and rose with Christ from the dead. We are in Christ.
A lot of troubles of our married lives and relationships are because of the little irritable. Very quick to find faults.
Song of Songs 2:15
Her Brothers
Catch us the foxes,
The little foxes that spoil the vines,
For our vines have tender grapes.
God knows the things that are truly holding you back. God has crucified the old, so reckon yourself dead and rose with Christ
The word Holy is set apart from common use.
Where the world see darkness, they see us experiencing light.
Colossians 3:2
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Stop getting irritated over small things.
Where the world is depressed, we have the peace of God
Where the world is confused, surely goodness and mercy will hunt us down all the days of our lives.
Verb tell us that this sin is an action
Sin in Romans 6:15
As a verb 7 times.
Romans 6:14-16
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?
Dead to sin
Alive unto God
Only when we realised we are one in Christ, death and judgement is behind us
Walk by faith and not by sight
Romans 6:11-12
Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
In light of verse 11, do not let sin reign in hour mortal body
Is the indicative that give you the power.
Sin unto (eis) death
Adam’s sin bought death into this world. By one man disobedience, many were made sinners.
By One Man’s obedience, many were made righteous. It was Adam’s sin that made me a sinner. Adam’s sin made me a sinner. Jesus’ obedience made me righteous
We died to sin once and for all. It is dead! It appeared alive but it is dead!
Romans 7:25
I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
As He is, so are you in this world.
Not as He was.
Paul preached the risen Christ
Colossians 3:3-4
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Acts 13:38-39
Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts 13:39 YLT
and from all things from which ye were not able in the law of Moses to be declared righteous, in this one every one who is believing is declared righteous;
We are declared righteous not because of our obedience.
Full unqualified free! When people believe there is transformation!
Everyone believe on Him is declared righteous
Acts 13:39-41
and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you:
‘Behold, you despisers,
Marvel and perish!
For I work a work in your days,
A work which you will by no means believe,
Though one were to declare it to you.’ ”
Grace is so full and free.
We have word for word account of what Paul preached.
Get the right gospel if we want to see the right result.
Romans 6:16-18 ASV
Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves,* you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed,
and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.
Do you believe Jesus’ obedience has made you righteous?
His obedience made you righteous
Which slave do you want to become?
Slave of Adam or slave of the Lord Jesus Christ
Prison exchange
Once upon a time we were in prison of sin.
No matter how much we want to do right we cannot change of state as a sinner.
The good things we did, cannot change our status as a sinner.
We are bound in that prison of sin
The only way is to die to sin and be resurrected to the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
We are now the righteousness of God in Christ. We cannot undo it. We cannot undo this status.
There are people with more faith on what Adam did.
Romans 6:17 ASV
But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed,
The grace teaching, once we believe, will form our lives.
Do you submit to what Adam did ? As a sinner nothing we did can make us not a sinner.
We are now in a different prison. We are in slave to righteousness. We are forever bound to the fact that we are righteous in Christ.
Believe in your heart. Listening under.
Are you listening to what great sin is ?
The more we talk about Jesus, and what Jesus did, we are glorifying Jesus
Your righteousness is in heaven.
