Sermon note (1st svc)
The church of Jesus Christ is alive and well! God is raising pastors leaders after His own heart. God take care of them in a special way. You pray for them. The devil is out to attack them.
Jesus was the Shepherd who was smitten.
Take care of your pastors by praying for them. They are tempted beyond the original members.
The best thing you can do for them is to pray for them.
When the Lord spoke to the 7 churches He said to them, He hosts the 7 stars. He holds us in His hands. He holds pastors and leaders in His hands. You might tremble and fall but His hands never. He holds you.
The cups cannot overflow unless it is filled.
If you are going through something, and in your night seasons, you know something, we will all go through this.
There will be no more nights in heaven.
There will be no more pains
Perhaps you are going through depression and even times you don’t understand God. God knows exactly what you are going through.
The bible talks a lot about night scenes, night events and night seasons.
Psalms 16:7
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
1. Sometimes we ourselves are the problem
2. It could be the devil
We are in spiritual warfare. Pastors leaders, especially when you had a great victory.
After a great victory, it is time not to let our guards down.
You just emptied yourselves when you serve. Fill yourselves up again.
You need Lord Jesus to be your Shepherd. Be a sheep and let Him fill and touch you.
David even went through a night season.
Psalms 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.
The Person of joy is our night season.
There are seasons of visitation.
The bride said i have washed myself and brushed my teeth,,,
Ladies are made to be clean. Man was made from the dust. Woman are not made from the dust.
The Lord loves us. We are His brides. There is a season where you feel a call and desire. If you open up the bible, the Word will jump up at you.
They will yoke and with younger ox.
When the ox that is experienced turn right, the younger ones better follow.
When He rest you better rest. When the Lord speaks to you, listen.
When the Lord drinks you drink.
Joy comes in the morning.
We who are filled up and excited and partaken of the Lord’s supper.
Genesis 15:1
God’s Covenant with Abram
(Heb. 11:8–10)
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
A vision of a shield. A shield that is all around.
Exceedingly great reward. This reward is the word used for salary.
First word was “Don’t be afraid.”
Why would Abraham be afraid after a victory?
Victory was given to him by the Lord.
The word came to him in a vision form.
See yourself surrounded by a shield. Surrounded with songs of deliverance.
God gives songs in the night.
Night seasons as well.
It can be your nights. Maybe you can’t sleep well. This message is for you.
Why is night time so depressive?
There are 7 night scenes
When you turn your back on Jesus, it is night.
Abraham came out and count the stars.
He is your exceedingly great rewards.
Very very good land.
God does not stinge on you
We see the stars during our night seasons.
Darkness was so thick that you can feel it. One of the plagues of Egypt
You enter in a dead stage and come out in resurrection stage.
Arise and shine for the glory of the Lord is upon you.
God will make sure your night seasons has light.
You will have light in your dwelling!
Light in the dwelling is supernatural light.
When the world sees, the light is there.
There is light in your dwelling.
Light in your family. Once you realised that you can walk in it.
We are children of the light. We walk in the light and never walk in darkness.
We walk in the light and every time you sin, the blood cleanses. You are in the light. You are kept in the light.
Walking in the light are believers.
Continue walking in the light.
It is not a question of how you walk. It is a question of where are you walking.
Exodus 10:23
They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
Sinners said they have no sins.
In the night seasons, devil is active but God even more will turn the night seasons to your favour!
Things are worse negatively in the night seasons.
We need to know what the bible teaches in the night seasons.
Daniel was thrown into the lion den. That was the night season.
Even Daniel who did right and found himself in the lion den.
Daniel 6:23
Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God.
Even you don’t understand what is happening, there is nothing for you to do, but just to believe in God.
The heaven declares the glory of God.
The stars don’t rule our lives. God will guide and lead us.

Fill yourself and your heart with greater vision.
Recount the story.
Abraham was the first man justified by faith.
He was justified in the night.
It seems that angels are active at night.
Night seasons and literal nights.
Acts 5:19-20
But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.”
Jacob had a dream and he fled.
He dreamt. He saw angels very active.
Genesis 28:12
Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
We have something greater. We have Jesus!
John 1:51
And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
You have Him. That was a fulfilment of what Jacob saw.
Solomon received wisdom when he was awake.
God instruct us in the night seasons too.
You shall meditate on My Words day and night.
And He shall be like a tree planted
God gave Solomon a dream. God asked him in a dream.
God will bypass all the steps and give us good life! This is what wisdom will give you.
Give me a hearing heart.
God loves it.
Solomon asked God for wisdom in the dream and he received in the dream.
Psalms 127:2
It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.
Bread of sorrows is a picture of anxiety
God change your spirit before you are changed outside.
God gives His beloved sleep.
It takes someone who knows he is beloved to knock down his enemy.
There are few thoughts on this verse –
God gives His beloved sleep.
While you are sleeping, God is giving even to His beloveds.
He gives to His beloved even to his sleep.
God gives to him while he is sleeping.
God can move even more while we are sleeping.
God speaks to man while he is sleeping.
There is a provision where God gives sleep.
You must have a sense you are loved.
The sons of man who is in the bosom of the Father.
Bosom of ℓσνє.
Jesus rested on God’s ℓσνє for Him.
You are My beloved son in you I am well pleased.
Command these two stones into bread –
The devil is saying find my nourishment in the law.
You are God’s beloveds!
Ask God to renew our youth our health and work on our problems while we are sleeping.
When God created man, He saw it was very good.
Hei is a picture of grace.
Came to bring grace to men
Great things happen to His beloveds while we are sleeping.
Good things are coming your way in your night seasons.

All of us are justified by faith.
God gives victory, songs in the nights.
If you are going through night seasons, look out for the victory

Sennacherib’s Defeat and Death
(Is. 37:36–38; 2 Chr. 32:20–23)
And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead.
Terror is usually at night. You don’t have to be afraid for He Himself comes to you.
A sense of His presence
Sometimes you find your life is coming against you. There is a resistant. Jesus is watching.
He saw them worrying and the wind was contradictory to them.
Matthew 14:25
Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
In the darkest time of your life, Jesus will come to you. He will come in a way you never expected. He walked on the water to them.
The disciples never saw Him walking on the water before.
It is victory. It is Jesus!
They were afraid to be under and they saw Jesus over.
Matthew 14:26-27
And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
The Lord above your trouble.
“I Am”
Fear not in our darkest season.
There are seasons where the Lord comes personally to you.
Don’t be afraid. The Lord comes to you personally
Healing flow-
Someone is having chest pain on and off. Stand to your feet. The Lord is touching you right now. He has healed you already.
He is giving the sister a brand new heart.
In the night season, God instituted the Passover.
Jesus Himself in the night He was betrayed He took bread.
He was going through His night seasons.
Think of us receiving the elements from the Lord. Receive from Him.
