Sermon note (4th svc)
Pastor Joseph Purcell
If God calls you to be somewhere or do something, His grace is sufficient
It is not about the size of your house but the atmosphere of your home.
Children of God bring great joy to our Heavenly Father!
Pastor when he was a child, he needed beating. His dad gave him a mercy beating. His dad said he wanted him to know that his heavenly Father do not condemn him.
We do not always get it right. We sometimes get it wrong.
We are not perfect. Our heavenly Father loves you deeply with never ending ℓσνє. God can use our mistakes for His grace to be abound.
God can turn our mistakes around.
Nothing is impossible with God. God can bring restoration when we think it is not possible.
He will be your Father to the fatherless. We have a good and wonderful Father.
There are many powerful and important names for us to know and to learn of our God.
There is one name above all other names that Jesus came to reveal to us. That is heavenly Father. Our Father.
God does not just want to be our God. He wants to be our Father.
Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
There was a time we were in fear, we have every legal right as a son and child of God. Bondages will be broken! We will no longer be a slave or servant. We will no longer be bound in fear.
He wants us to see Him as Abba.
Abba means daddy. It speaks of ℓσνє, closeness.
God does not just want to your God, He does not just want to be father, He wants us to see Him as daddy!
He wants us to see Him as loving daddy!
How we see Him relate to how we relate to Him.
The way we see our heavenly Father will determine how much we can receive from Him.
See Him as loving Daddy and we can receive from Him.
Matthew 7:11
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
It makes the parents so happy to be able to bring their children for trip and enjoying life. How much more does our heavenly Father desire to bless us!
How much more He desires to see us blessed in every area of our lives!
He wants to lavish His ℓσνє upon us!
Give good things to those who ask Me.
Place a demand on His goodness, grace and abundance!
Simple and childlike faith
God loves it when we ask Him. Nothing too big or too small for Him.
If it is important to you, it is important to Him.
If God cares about little things like a little small tiny miniature toy, how much more does your heavenly Father cares about you?
If it is important to you, it is important to our heavenly Father.
He loves you.
Always be conscious of your heavenly Father loves for you.
Matthew 3:17
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
It is so important you speak and tell them that you loves your children
Our heavenly Father spoke and told Jesus He is well-pleased.
The wilderness is a hard place and hot and cold. No way to survive in the natural. Your heavenly Father loves you. You are accepted in the Beloved because of Jesus!
The strategy of the enemy is to rob you of your consciousness of God’s ℓσνє for you.
Be conscious you are His beloved son in whom He is well pleased.
At the beginning and the end, you are His beloved son in whom He is well pleased.
First know how much God loves His Son. Jesus came to this earth.
Romans 8:32
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
He who did not spare
He who did not spare
God could have spared His Son.
He did not need to rescue us from our sin. We deserve punishment.
Jesus prayed the prayer.
He prayed for His cup to be passed but not His will but His Father’s will
He was about to endure a beating
He was about to go to the cross to die the most cruel death known to man
He was about to take the punishment of all the sins of men.
How much stripes were on Jesus’ body
How much blood flow from Jesus’ body
Our heavenly Father could have spared His Son but He would not.
The Father allowed Jesus to offer Himself up. He took your sins and my sins.
For the first time Jesus called His Father My God My God why have You forsaken Me
He turned His back on His Son so that He can turn to us.
So that today He could bless you.
So that today He can call you His child
How shall He not with Him also freely gives us all things?
What is the breakthrough you have been looking for?
How much more with Him will He give you all things?
He is a good God. He is your Daddy.
He wants to pour out His blessings His favour His health and His wholeness to you
