Noah – The Real Story

God will give you His very best. We are not going to settle for second best.
When you talk about sinners, everyone are. None are good. We are need to be saved. Man measure themselves based on their own righteousness, but it s measured by God’s righteousness.
Most legalistic people, Paul called himself chief of sinners when Jesus saved him.
We are need a Saviour.
The movie Noah made God appeared harsh and mean. This is not biblical accurate. God asked Noah to save his entire family, not kill his family.
God always extend chances after chances.
There is misrepresentation of God in this movie. This is not poemetic license. It won’t take away God’s character.
Passion of Christ has poemetic license but it does not take away Jesus’ character.
Jesus said as it were the days of Noah, it shall be as the coming of the son of men
Understand the promise. The very first promise was the prophecy.
The promise of all promises.
Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”
Women don’t have seed. This is prophesy of virgin birth.
In crushing satan’s head, He will crush His heel.
When Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel, the devil was afraid. He thought immediately the woman’s seed will be the Saviour.
Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin.
Cain’s sacrifice was bloodless sacrifice.
God does not check you out. He check your lamb out. It is not how good you are. Our Lamb is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Cain was jealous of his brother Abel.
Both brothers approached God differently. Cain approached God his way and Abel approached God His way.
Cain killed Abel. Satan thought he got it. He thought he stopped Jesus from coming.
Abraham lived 175 years. He was way after the flood. Noah lived 950 years.
The devil is after destroying the woman’s seed so he can maintain his position.
The kingdom of this world will belong to Jesus Christ.
Genesis 6:1-4
The Wickedness and Judgment of Man
Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” There were giants (nephilim) on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Nephilim – the fallen ones
Mighty in size, strength and wickedness
People back then knew more than we are today.
Daughters of men are women of mankind.
Sons of God are angels. Not God’s angels. They came from God but they fell.
It was long before God created man.
They are not humans. They are angels.
Angels can take the body of man and appear like man.
They are not supposed to abuse their position but it happened
Anyone created directly by God are sons of God. We are fully man born as sons of God in the family of God.
Job 1:6
Satan Attacks Job’s Character
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.
Job 38:7
When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God (angels) shouted for joy?
Before Noah’s flood, there was 100 and 100 of years.
The people lived long lives then.
Fallen angels came to the daughters of man and took on the body of man and had sex with them. They created giants.
There were giants on the earth.
In those days are the days before the flood came.
Afterwards is after the flood.
Israel was raised to stop these giants.
When God told Abraham to go to the land, the giants were already in the land.
There was erruption of the giants before and after the flood.
David killed Golaith. He is giant
God raised Israel to exterminate them.
Jude 1:6-7
And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode (body), He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
These angels were bound with chains.
They were bounded early before the judgement day.
It involved perverted sex.
God made man in His image.
Everything degenerate.
Genesis 6:5-8
Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
Half angels and half humans. Their thoughts were evil continuously. Noah found grace.
Noah means rest. Rest find grace in the eyes of the Lord.
Someone who ever sin like Jesus is full of rest and He is full of grace.
Genesis 6:9-11
Noah Pleases God
This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
2 Peter 2:4-5
Doom of False Teachers
For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell (tartarus) (used one time in the entire New Testament) and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;
Any sickness use the name of Jesus.
The woman who was bound of spirit of infirmity, the name of Jesus was used and she was loosed.
The disease can jump. It jump from one limp to another. This is spirit. All spirits bow in the name of Jesus.
Noah had a wife.
Noah was telling them, save yourself, judgement is coming.
Use the name of Jesus against demons. Demon’s spirit that do sex.
Demon makes you dirty and hateful in your mind and emotion.
Noah was preaching to the people and none of them repented.
Noah was a just and righteous man. He was not righteous because of his character but because of the blood.
Children are precious. Make sure they are watching the correct ones.
Make sure their hearts are filled with the word of God.
Start from an infant. Their spirits are receiving.
Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
Heir of righteousness according to faith and not to work.
God had to send the flood because of His grace and mercy so that He can preserve the human race.
Jesus was going to come and crush the satan’s head.
It is the mercy of God.
God overthrew pharaohs and His mercy endures forever.
Noah believed the same blood sacrifice as you and I believed in.
Genesis 6:9
Noah Pleases God
This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect (tamim-unblemished) in his generations. Noah walked with God.
Noah was the only hope left. God preserved the human race.
All races come from one pair of man and woman.
All the dogs varieties of the world come from one pair of dogs originally
Science cannot explain-
1. The animals have migratory instinct and can sense impending danger.
2. There are animals which can hiberate
For most part of the months the animals were in hibernation. When they hiberate they don’t need to go toilet.
God remembers Noah and all the animals. Remember meaning meet all their needs.
Watch bible movie, make sure it is done by people who are born again.
On the day of disaster, countries with elephant rides, they started to break free and run up the hills one hour before the disaster hit.
We have brain and we use our brain to rebell.
Genesis 6:12-15
So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.
The Ark Prepared
(Heb. 11:7; 1 Pet. 3:20)
And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover (kaphar) it inside and outside with pitch (kopher). And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.
Kaphar – the word use for atonement.
Noah Ark is a type of Jesus Christ.
You are covered all around.
The Ark suffered and the divine fierceness of God’s wrath hit the ark but not one blow hit Noah.
Jesus took it for us!
300 in the bible is the number of victory.
The woman who worshipped Jesus with her expensive oilment, the disciple said it could be sold for 300.
God always prepare His people before the crisis.
They were all young animals.
The potential is all in the genes.
We are all one human race from the same parent.
Genesis 6:16-17
You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks. And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die.
The windows are all above. He don’t want us to be occupied with all the distraction and corruption of the world.
Keep your eyes on God and He will keep His eyes on your enemies.
The size is very much like titanic. Man build it, it sank. God builds it, you can rest. Who build your house ?
At night when it is really cold, God provides the fire.
Don’t look around and be distressed or look within and be depressed. Look to Jesus and be at rest.
Once upon a time He was just God. Now He is God Man. He can understand what you are going through and He is at the Father’s right hand.
Set the door, one door! Only one door! Only one Name. No other ways!
There is only one way for man to be saved.
John 10, He is the Door.
Genesis 6:16
You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks.
Why 3 decks?
We are spirit, soul and mind. We live in a body.
If you are sick, God wants to heal you.
One day, we receive a new body that will never grow old and die.
Genesis 7:15-16
And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life. So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God (Elohim) had commanded him; and the Lord (Yahweh) shut him in.
God closed the door. You are safe inside. No one can unclose. You are eternally secure in Christ.
Some part of the journey when it gets bumpy, you fall in the ark.
Whatever you put in Jesus’ hands, it multiplies.
Put your children in His hands, they multiply in grace.
Man wrote as secretary, and Holy Spirit dictates.
All the earth may know there is Yahweh! Yahweh saves!
He saves us even from ourselves.
Genesis 6:18
But I will establish My covenant (first time appear) with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.
God creates situation whereby it is easy for them to accept Christ.
You are saved, there is a big door open for your loved ones, families to be saved.
Genesis 7:1
The Great Flood
(Luke 17:26, 27)
Then the Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.
Come into the ark
Come unto Me and I will give you rest.
Take the bath and you will come out clean.
Come unto Me all you who labour and i will give you rest.
When God said come into the ark, where is the Lord? He is in the ark.
Genesis 8:15-16
Then God spoke to Noah, saying, “Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you.
Where is the Lord? He is inside the ark.
This is our God, the Hero. He is the first one in and last one out!
We live lives holy because it is the result not the root of our salvation.
The ark finally rested in mount ararat.
Jesus rose from the dead from the same day the ark rested.
Jesus rested on no more judgement ground.
Curse – is Arara
Genesis 8:4
Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat. (No curse ground. Curse reversed)
No more curse. The curse is reversed!
When all the animals came out, they still come out 2 by 2.
Genesis 8:18-19
So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him. Every animal, every creeping thing, every bird, and whatever creeps on the earth, according to their families, went out of the ark.
Not one was lost.
They did not even die of natural death.
God remembered (took care of all their needs) Noah and all the animals. All came out saved!
Noah was absolutely safe cos the ark was safe.
All the animals sacrifices reminds God of His Son.
Genesis 9:13-15
I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Rainbow is when storm and sunshine collides.
Look out for the rainbow!
Without the storm there is no rainbow.
He set his bow in the clouds.
God will not shoot judgement on us. He hang His bow in the clouds.
Everything of God is in 7.
Our bodies cycle in 7
Isaiah 54:9
“For this is like the waters of Noah to Me;
For as I have sworn
That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth,
So have I sworn
That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
All that Jesus went through, this is like the ark.
When you see rainbow; remember God sworn that He will never be angry with us.
At the cross when all the storm burst over Jesus’ head, there is now no more condemnation for us.
From Abraham came the 12 sons of Jacob.
Whatever the devil tried, it did not work.
When Jesus was born, king Herod tried to kill the seed but he did not succeed
