Why do you believe?
Personal revelation
You know or you believe?
Jesus Christ. Christ means the Anointed One.
We are Christ-ians! We are also the anointed one because we are in Him. When things are not working out in our lives, we need to replenish our anointing.
We are the earthen vessels.
Maybe we are not too sure what we believe.
Pause for a while and ask, why do I believe? What has God done for us?
We must have the walk with God.
When we seek the revelation
When He was on the road of Emmaus, it was a crushing defeat for all the believers. This couple were walking on the road and Jesus was in the midst of them but they cannot see Him. They did not recognise Him.
They lost their faith and as they walked, Jesus expounded things regarding Himself to them in the bible.
The water was bitter they took a piece of wood and threw to the water and it become sweet. Your situation is bitter but put Jesus in the situation and it will become sweet.
They broke bread. They ate the communion and they recognised Him. The moment they recognised Him, He disappeared. God wants us to see Him in the scripture.
Look at what the scripture said!
Nicodemus studied and he was scholarly. He went to ask Jesus how to get into heaven. His reply was he must be born again. Only God can produce children. He made us all children of God.
The next chapter was the woman at the well. Jesus knowing all things refused to talk to Nicodemus who seem to know all things about bible. He came to Jesus but Jesus went to the woman at the well. He created a situation to talk to her.
Jesus is the 7th Man in her life. She said whatever little she knew.
Jesus revealed to her that the Messiah she was talking about is Him. He became overnight evangelist.
The heart of God is you don’t discount yourself.
If there is any sin very serious is you think you are unworthy before God.
Who was the disciple who rejected God? Peter and Judas. They did it publicly.
Judas beat himself up inside and hung himself. He rejected the tree God hung for him and he hung himself in his tree.
Peter did not hang himself. He carried on. He gave himself time. Jesus came to him.
Some of you are going through the period of down period. Jesus will appear before you.
He will make happenstance to happen to you.
Go about our daily lives and cracking open the bible.
Luke 22:19
And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
Matthew 26:27-28
Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
How do we partake the Lord’s body in a worthy manner?
Unleavened bread
Pierced stripe and burnt
Remember Jesus on the cross
Remission of our sins.
Our sins are forgiven.
Jesus work on the cross is open for all, yet not all believe that the blood is of the new covenant.
What is the old covenant?
What is the new covenant?
The holy communion is the new covenant.
Sicknesses and diseases are curse under the old covenant. When you are sick, know that this is not ought to be.
It is a spiritual thing when there is something wrong in our bodies.
God has already healed you. We fight from victory not for victory. Not beg Him. He has already given us. Our part is to claim.
Even an itch is a curse. Rebuke the curse in Jesus’ mighty Name!
We rebuke the condition! The body supposed to serve us well!
Keep taking the holy communion!
Every 7 years all the cells in your bodies rejuvenate
Believe for something better.
Shine a light onto our paths that we might see.
The extend of your “defeat” is the extend of the darkness in your lives.
His Word can shine.
The light represent revelation.
Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you will find.
God cannot come into your lives without you giving permission.
Do what you want to me, You are a good God. You will not put me to shame. You know my past present and You are already ahead. Cast your lives into His hands.
Mark 14:22-24
Jesus Institutes the Lord’s Supper
(Matt. 26:26–29; Luke 22:14–23; 1 Cor. 11:23–26)
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.
Acts 2:46
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
When does the communion element become holy? Before or after we have partaken of it? Why is it that important?
Something is not become something that is.
When does the element becomes the body and blood of Christ?
Take eat, this is My body.
After they drank from it, He said this is My blood.
Grain and the wine
Body and blood is for all
Everything they have they shared among themselves. They minister to one another in one accord.
Our trials and difficulties
1 Corinthians 11:26
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
Remind and remind ourselves past present and future we are forgiven
The Lord has given us this to remember.
Apply His body and His blood to your life.
Drink from the fountain.
1 Samuel 7:7-11
Now when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel had gathered together at Mizpah, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard of it, they were afraid of the Philistines. So the children of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.”
And Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. Then Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him. Now as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel. But the Lord thundered with a loud thunder upon the Philistines that day, and so confused them that they were overcome before Israel. And the men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, and drove them back as far as below Beth Car.
Declare the Lord’s death and take holy communion.
This led to victory for the Israelites.
It is not immediate. God will cause you eventually to be there.
When we are partaking the holy communion we are declaring and enforcing the victory the Lord has purchased for us at Calvary.
